My guess would be that when you fingered her you were smelling her general vaginal secretions from making her wet. The fluid that squirts is from a whole different place.

Ever changing orgasms!

I just want to endorse your comments about variable responses.

From hard experience, the last week of the month can be very "trying" . . . trying to get a response when a week previously S/O was all orgasms and ecstatic pleasure without limit . . . responsiveness appears to be linked to the daily and monthly rhythm of hormonal balance, and may be modified by other factors such as alcohol intake and surrounding social conditions . . .
