expect to be taken seriously when he had no clear opinion on whether to leave or stay in Europe, was reprimanded by the UK Statistics Authority for lying during the Brexit campaign and now comes back to say he didn't lie enough.

Ineffectual is better than swivel-eyed crazy though, besides we have a long history of ineffectual leaders so it's traditional. Did you know Corbyn is an expert on man-hole covers... maybe you call them drain covers?

He may do the 'old duffer' act, but I wouldn't underestimate Boris. He's as sharp as a razor and I think those close to him know it. When St Teresa recently re-shuffled the Cabinet, albeit in a limited way, she wisely kept him in the tent and with a good job to keep him occupied.

No we call drain covers drain covers and manhole covers manhole covers. A hole designed for a man to climb down into subterranean spaces is a manhole the cover of a space designed to give rodding access to a drain or sewer would be a drain cover.
