Volunteer Editor snark

Appearing now in the "Available to edit March 2017" tread on the VE board:

"Hi, I would like toe dit some stuff, but I am not sure how to get to you"

Well alrighty then.

That isn't the first time someone botched a post where they offered to edit for others.

I get the irony, but sometimes people pay less attention to posts then stories or editing, just look at all the typos you can find in the AH on any given thread.

VE is a crap shoot and we all know that. It ranges from people who are very good to people who are barely more than a second set of eyes, but every little bit helps.

There is one that advertises every month as available that makes me cringe because I used them once and they barely changed anything and once the sex started there was nothing. I think they volunteer just to get wanking material before the readers.

I'll point out that the OP joined you by misspelling "thread" as "tread" on the first line.

Yep, editors need editors nearly as much as anyone else. No one can comprehensively edit him/herself.

If we're playing this game, that ".." should either be a single dot or three of them. Two full stops isn't a recognised form of punctuation. ;-)
