It's a tough question, yet I always fall for brother, sister stories, it's so much more likely and probable and yet so under recognized.Then father, daughter followed closely by uncle and niece collections. The bigger issue is finding realistically written story lines and plots, with believeable characters, not just the wham bam thank you mam, over the the top story and plot lines we typically read these days.

Too late here to vote also. I have a different perspective: I'm not really a fan of incest stories -- except those I wrote! I write incest stories (about 1/3 of my total, and growing) because they get a good response (about 2/3 of my views). That means they GET READ. That's my goal: grabbing eyeballs.

Which incest type gets the best response? I don't know, and I probably don't NEED to know. I'll just keep writing what seems right.

My favorite and most energizing to write are what I call "inadvertent incest", where some or all of the fuckers don't know their relationship when they hook up. Those include father-daughter (THAT'S MY GIRL) and cousins+aunt and siblings+mother (the BLACK & WHITE tales). Kin unite after a long separation; incest ensues.

My others are "witting incest" stories -- everybody knows exactly who does what to whom. So far, it's mostly strong older sisters seducing their brothers (A SPOT OF MUSIC), and maybe both sleeping with their mother (THE BOOK OF RUTH). Also, 2 or 3 sisters who share themselves and a boyfriend (various A TASTE OF INCEST and RON'S JOURNAL stories). And maybe my favorite mix, the ever-popular siblings+cousin (other TASTE tales).
