The Empire of Earth has been spreading out among the stars for over a century exploring, fighting, and trading. While they saw danger and glory as they fulfilled their ambitions to conquer the stars they weren't prepared for this latest development….

A ship carrying a diplomatic envoy consisting of two peaceful alien races arrived at a frontier outpost. They shared data about an enemy beyond their borders, and it sent shock waves through the empire. The invaders are actually two different, but vicious races bent on conquest. They destroy fleets and decimated worlds and all efforts to negotiate have failed. The juggernaut looks to be unstoppable, and the only comfort is that these aliens are years away. Plenty of time to prepare for the worst if you didn't mind sacrificing everything in their path in the meantime, so the decision has been made to take the fight to the enemy.

To aid in this fight against the alien invaders the friendly aliens have handed over an impressive enemy vessel. A spherical battle station that is in fact is powered by a minor star giving it access to almost limitless energy. The craft was recovered in an asteroid field after a virus wiped out the enemy alien crew. While the hostile aliens remain vulnerable to the illness it no longer has the plague like effects it once had.

Earth’s best and brightest spent over two years refitting the now renamed Takemikazuchi.

As a simple guideline every room is 10x10x10 space. We'll call it starship space to give perspective. I'm not overly technical, but when I describe areas I want people to know what I'm talking about.

With the station being such a massive size each character will have their own two level living area. I'm all about people being creative. That said a standard living quarters pod begins with a heavy duty blast door, a small foyer and another blast door leading to hallway.

On level one there is a 3 starship space hall leading to an intersection. On the right there is a large general storage area (20x20x10), and to the left there is a workshop/lab/other depending on writer's preference. Want a yoga studio, cool, want a blacksmith shop out of 1600 century Japan possible, want a firing range....etc. You get the idea. At the center there is a large turbo lift, stairs, a half bathroom and a mechanical room with work space.

One level two there is a living room, dinning room, kitchen, and general purpose room you can customize. On the other side of hall there are two bedrooms, one full bath, and a storage area.

Not bad accommodations for everyone in the fleet. Please let me know about customization, roommates, and other ideas your having. Want to be the local bartender who lives above the bar? Now if you want barrack life or have ideas for sharing a space please let me know. Maybe you have a living space in your work area or want to remain on your ship.

There are a lot of possibilities for this thread. Let's make a galaxy and roleplay in it.

Afterwards I went straight into Special Forces by joining Marine Force Recon. During my time in service I became disillusioned with serving and risking my life for relatively little pay. After being sent on a mission to eliminate a drug lord I became highly influenced by his life. Huge homes, fast cars and gorgeous women. I became a small time player to learn the craft and soon became a large player in the drug trade. Once caught by leadership I was immediately discharged from the Marines. Due to evidence of drug use by very influential people I was never sent to prison and the cunning and brutality my cartel is known for has been seen as a potential asset by some. I've quickly gone from being a fast rising star on the path to General to being an outlaw.

Well Rogues will fit into this setting, but with the criminal background and discharge from the service why would they be bringing you on? Adviser? mercenary? Useful occupation? Have to have a reason even if not a particularly good one.
 
Due to the incriminating evidence I have on their friends and family they can't send me to prison however, they have discovered my organization and have therefore made it difficult for me to operate. They know my cartel soldiers will follow me and that they can operate beyond the conventional rules of war that governments must follow. So they made me the offer to take me and my men and be of value to the government.

I also see this as an option to build a blackmarket and empire

That I can work with. You're not the first man to take advantage of a war to rebrand himself. From outlaw to patriot. So I'd say a mercenary leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. Sounds good?

History: Karl McKay is the epitome of what an engineer is. From birth he has shown an aptitude for all things mechanical and electronic. This made him a shoe in to enroll in the prestigious Massachussetts Institute of Technology, graduating at the top of his class. However, instead of making his fortune in the business world like hi family wanted to, he enlisted in the fleet. His talent at improving engine efficiency and even designing various ships' system made him the obvious choice to run the engineering section of the Takemikazuchi.
 
Okay to crew out of a possible 500,000....it's a start. No women want to go into space? I highly doubt that. Put out a character concept.

Two male crew members for a crew of up to 500,000....So many Literotica fans like anime and science fiction. I thought there would be more.


We need mech pilots, fighter pilots, scouts, space rangers, bounty hunters, big game hunters, bartenders, clergy, prostitutes, technicians...and journalists.

Would love to have the largest group thread on Lit!
 
Two players on board and a third on deck....who else wants to join up. Lot's of adventure and more people on the ship more chances for sex.

There are at least two alien races to create, and thousands of interesting humans. There are some great creative writers on Lit and I'd love to see them in action.

History: Julia has a very promising military career. She is well respected among her supiors her career is advancing perfectly, her life would be perfect by her standings, except for one thing. Her brother is in debt with the Falcron family, the largest mob family to the tune of 900 Trillion dollars, when Fredrick gave Tony Falcron bad investment advice. Instead of killing or breaking body parts, Tony took away Fredrick's lively hood as a banker. Unable to get hired anywhere to repay the debt, Fredrick became Tony's live in slave.

Upon hearing of Fredrick's misfortune, Julia stepped in and tried to neogicate with Tony, which turned out to be a mistake. Tony's men outnumbered her 10 to 1 and being unarmed, she was knocked out easily. When she awoke, she found herself bound and gagged, in doggie postition while Tony was raping her. As she awoke Tony explained the deal, that she would whore herself out for him, and wire him the money daily, if not the new tattoo on her neck would give her wicked buzz as it hid a micro chip underneith. So every night Julia dawns a leather mask, calling herself Helena putting on a heavy Russian meeting with clients she has set up over site she had made. Once a month Julia has to take a weekend leave, so Tony can check up and test his military brat's skills.

Excellent. Ladies I will give character gear soon....I like what I'm reading. I think I will have everyone stationed in the same area of the station...still a small city on the moon size station.
 
I need some time to figure out characters, but a few useful facts for characters in the thread.


The necessary crew of the battle station numbers 500,000 with close to that many civilians on the station. Many will come and go when they can since this is a military operation, but there will be more then a few for players to write up.

The ship is divided into 25 sections each with Access Lift, Living Quarters,
Laboratories, Workshops, General Storage, Alien Containment, Hangars, Scanner Systems, Missile Defenses, Laser Defenses, Plasma Defenses, and Shields Defenses.

There will also be a number of civilian areas and common areas between military sections. There are also unused areas, and some that still need exploration. The ship was refitted in a rush.

All current players will be in section 17 with more details to follow. Any questions or things you'd like to add let me know.

At this stage in the Empire of Earth there are no STD's so sex is fun and pregnancy can easily be prevented, so one is free to enjoy all the lustful sex they want.

We will flesh this out more, but currently there are clones, synthetic humans, and robots in setting.

So I'm just going to lay out my ideas, I had when I made my character. See if they agree with yours.

Since talking about an Earth Empire, I assumed that there is one unified form of government that governs Earth now, maybe countries still have their own government but they must answer to the global government.

Since there is also a global government, there is also a universal language or advanced translators so people can understand each other. Cause I made my character Russian but I don't speak Russian at all. So I'd have to look up stuff if wanted to do something like that.

Also since there is a global government I assume a global currency used and accepted in military outpost, stations ect. Old paper currency is used only in the countries on earth and limited use.
