I love the tedium (bet you don't often get that compliment) of billboards and traffic that leads to the quiet hope for refuge.

tess' title makes me smile - so very apt, especially him not even needing to turn around to check if her bottom's as he 'himagines' it to be.

Thanks Tods. Your comment means a lot because that's what I was trying to do--get the feel of the music in the words. I've changed it a bit since I wrote it and may fiddle with it a bit more. As for that song, it is just lovely to me. Don't get me started on jazz, that's dangerous.

It is what keeps me coming back. Things will slow for a while and then it's like a renaissance of poetry and everyone is picking up on each others' ideas and tricks. I have never seen it happen in quite the same way elsewhere online.
