Isle of Lesbos II

**takes a bow**

Thanks, Stella. He likes to jump on my comments, but that's okay because I enjoy poking him with a sharp stick.

I did have to walk away however when he started with the "I'm sure some man was really mean to you at some point. But from your posts, I'll have to assume that you obviously deserved it." shit.

Because of the feeling I still have from being serially raped, if I would have responded to him after he said shit like that it would have gotten REALLY ugly, really fast. I refuse to give him that.
The man is like the worst expression of the pissiest old queen that ever queened.

So now he's wondering why me and you are friendly. But I'm not. You deserve the best in my mind, you always did. Even when we were at each other's throats, I always understood that you were fighting some big battles elsewhere.

Just wanted to say that!

Oh my, look at all the cobwebs! I can see it's time to tidy up, sit down and post something, after a glass or two of Beaujolais Nouveau.

I hope you are all doing well. Myself, I've been a little under the weather as of late but I'm feeling much better today.

Lacking anything earth shattering to post, I think I'll write about a PM I received shortly after Amy returned to the board. Shocking, or maybe not, she asked me if I happened to be Amy, quote "Are you safe_bet". Responding that I wasn't, although since she believed I may have been using two personas I'm not sure she believed me. I did ask her why she felt we were the same person. This was her PM back to me.

Frankly yes, you both have very similar attitudes and posts. You phrase things the same and engage in discussions very similar. And I'm pretty sure you are both in Iowa.

Just an observation. I do not mean it with any disrespect just a general observation that made me want to ask the question. Enjoy lit!

I know we both have similar attitudes, at least to being feminist and lesbian but I don't think our styles are similar. As for both of us being from Iowa, she surely can't believe there is only one lesbian in Iowa.

Ya'll have a lovely day, think beautiful thoughts, have sex until you're exhausted.

Now THAT's funny! :D

As for Iowan lesbians? There are so many that that Republitard Branstad would happily have an open hunting season for them!

GASP a man has entered the sanctuary!

Rawr rawr rawr make me a sandwich rawr rawr rawr!

*runs in, discreetly tweaks Luna's left nipple, overtly gropes girlsmiley's ass, gets a cuppa and runs back out**

You're terrible. Do it again. :)

If it weren't for FB, I wouldn't even know that she were still breathing. She is unutterably MEAN to me.

gives you the slow once over~undressing you with my eyes...

:D

Oh yeah...women like YOU.

Dancing into the room, singing 'Cornflake Girl', wearing my sexy French maids outfit, picking up empty wine bottles and dirty glasses. "My, my don't we drink a lot."

Waging my finger at Luna, "Please do not tempt me with all those fattening foods".

Cuddling up to Amy, Top of the Afternoon to you luv!

Waltzing over to Bunny, sliding my knees between her legs, showing her just how sexy a table dance can be, hoping she'll notice my silver choker with the silver ring attached. ;)

Stickygirl I just love Tori Amos, I think she's the best overall musical artist of our time, it's too bad she gets more recognition in Europe than she does here. The only problem I have with Tori is she isn't LESBIAN. Worse yet she's married to some dude.

Hi Saphs, I love your country. The only thing is I have a hard time understanding some of you English. It's like some don't speak English at all. I haven't been there since I was 13 but I do remember the women were hot but the men as being rather dull, as most men are. Surprising you're not all Lesbians. Come to think about it, surprising we're all not Lesbian.

Nice to meet you girlsmiley, sit down next to me and whisper all your darkest secrets. Maybe just a little gossip too.

I'll be back after I wash all the dirty glasses and plates. Luna next time bring paper plates please.

G'day, Lexi! :)

Goss? Well, I'm not really up-to-date with the latest (and hardly ever am lol), but this may tickle your interest.

Have you heard about Luna's hair? It sticks up at the back sometimes. When she's ready to pounce. ;)

Now THAT's funny! :D

*head spin* Say what? :D

Wanders in and flops down on a comfy chair. Grabs a cuppa tea and proceeds to yell quite loudly.

DAMN!! Where is EVERYBODY????

Decides that my bed is seriously calling my name and needs me in it, naked and sleeping. Further decides that this is a lovely thought as I haven't slept, really slept, in days.

Dozes off thinking about nude women in my bed, with me.

Wakes up long enough to blow kisses to the ladies...

and give the finger to SHE who shall NOT be named!!

*relents and blows her kisses too*

I always thought you were a douche splash. Thanks for proving it.

You bring out the troll in me. You really got a troll on me, I say you really got a troll on me! Lol Dont get your flannel all ruffled up. Go check the oil on your pickup truck, thatll relax you.

how about the lesbian in you, Jax?
Is there a pussy in your panties, and does it respond to women?

Yes and sadly, it's inside out. Oh, you should see how happy it gets around women, almost more than men. Oh and I wear boyshorts. Embracing my inner lesbian.

Well... We have some trans women who are lesbians-- but people who identify as male and have dicks? By definition are not lesbians. They are het, or gay or bi-- but they are not women who love women.

Also, women who want to sex up people who identify as men and who have dicks? Are also not lesbians and won't be in this thread.

Are you giving MOI the finger?

*whispers* Because you know, Luna, in some circles that would be considered an invitation.

Mmmmwah! It's Friday night and I am doing nothing at all! Brushing my hair and doing my nails. *sigh*

Does she feel "shouty"??? You DARE ask Luna that without having your ear plugs (or sundry other "plugs") in place?

No. Just go away.
(and either "just say no to drugs" or buy a fucking spell checkerer, FFS! )

Geez... if there is anything worse than a lipsticker, it's an emo lipsticker! :D

Ooooh, I think this is the place for me.

I'm Clishmaclaver, but you can call me C. Mid-twenties, been with my partner (Dee) for a good while, planning our wedding for 2015 when the government changes the law to equal marriage instead of civil partnerships, so we don't need to go through the paperwork twice.

We're also beginning the process of having babies- there's a three year waiting list for sperm, so we pretty much have to join the waiting list asap. We're currently arguing over how to go about it; I want to go through a clinic, importing sperm from the European sperm bank, IUI with medication route. She wants to go down the known-donor-syringe-at-home route. Both are equally legal (as long as we're married), and the medicated route would be covered by the NHS so finances aren't an issue.

I suspect I'll win (as I'm the one planning to get knocked up first; I'm about to finish med school and will be starting work as a GP in May, and I'll get paid more on maternity leave than she would), but I just wish we would agree. Bah.

Quite sure that's more than you guys wanted to know, but any advice from women who've been there and done that would be appreciated.

Hi, C. Nice to meet'cha.

I was kind of surprised to see your comment about a waiting list. When we had ours we went to the clinic, flipped through the "Mystery Daddy" book to find the attributes we wanted and then it was immediately available.

The BIG benefit of doing that way is there is not paternity issues. The down side is cost. Depending on the clinic and the donor attributes/background info it can get expensive. We were pretty picky so it ended up costing us around $2,500 to get the "mystery daddy" attributes we wanted (due to the IQ testing, in depth physical and genetic screenings). 'Course we also got several "doses" out of the vial we purchased.

One bright side, regarding the "baster" vs. "IUI" issue, is that when my wife got her IUIs the doctor always let me be the one pushing the plunger so that I was the one impregnating her. Sounds stupid, I know, but our twins still literally BEAM when ever I tell them I "put them in their mama's belly".

I'm based in the UK, and we get free sperm and fertility assistance on the NHS. There's far more demand than supply (my city has one local donor. ONE) and so it's imported from the European Sperm Bank, mostly Danish donors.

Of course, the ESB supplies most fertility clinics in Europe, and again, demand far outweighs supply. Due to restrictions on the number of successful pregnancies a donor is allowed to have (10, I believe), location restrictions, etc, they do occasionally run dry.

Fertility assistance in general has a significant waiting list, which does just about double the wait. So, we have 18 months to even see a fertility specialist, and then probably 18 months until we're matched with a donor and the sperm sent to the clinic.

We could buy from the US, but shipping costs would probably rival our mortgage.

Hi C,

Jessica, the love of my life and wife, and I have two daughters. Unlike what you're going to do and Amy did, Jessie and I elected to go IVF, my eggs, donor sperm and her womb.

There are genetic reason we chose to do so and Jessie wanted to have the experience of child birth. We had to do so twice as none of the embryos attached the first time but it was worth it we have two precious twin daughters. To me it's really special because I have an identical twin sister. In a way I think it is going to be better for our daughters because they aren't identical.

The only real drawback to IVF is the costs, adding in travel and overnight stays it cost close to $30,000 or about £19,700.

Sounds stupid, I know, but our twins still literally BEAM when ever I tell them I "put them in their mama's belly".

Does not sounds stupid, I think it's so sweet!

Identical twins or fraternal twins? I just can't hardly believe it you have twins, I have twins, I'm a twin, next you're going to tell me you're also a twin.

Oh by the way Jessie's taking me snowmobiling tonight!:D Not a lot of snow but Jessie said it's enough.

You're planning to have a baby?

That's fantastic! Congratulations! You know, I like happy news like this. I'm sure you gals will sort it out

And welcome! This is ABSOLUTEY the place for you. :)

**Blows a big 'ol raspberry on your tummy** PFFFFFFFFFFFT!

Now, now. You KNOW I was kidding!

Well... ok. ;)

(I could never be mad at you. I heart you too much.)

I have to go the shops to get bacon before the monster and carpet grub wake up.

Really crappy morning here in Sydney. The weather is just...blah.

Hello Islanders,

I figured it would be good to introduce myself so I can stop lurking. I mostly just go by "diz" on Lit. It works. I'm not from Iowa! But I used to be. I've lived all over the U.S., and now I'm up in Canada, because I married a Canadian woman whom I adore, and the legalities of it all were just simpler here. What isn't simple is immigration. But we're getting there.

Congratulations to those of you with and expecting children! I'm a little (a lot) jealous. It's just not in the cards for us. Instead we have dogs. They're not twins. ;) Not by a long shot.

And... I guess that's it. Hello.

-diz :rose:
