Mine also heavily involves cosplay, although not in the sex scenes themselves (at least, not yet, I may add a second sex scene that would involve hall cosplay). Fistbumping for fun convention stories!

Can anybody recommend some good tentacle stories? I’ve never done tentacles before and my story has an alien heptapod so I need a few pointers. The centaur is no problem but tentacles.. ... hmmmm

I read several in preparation for my own story Planet of the Tentacons, but I didn't care for many of them. I have no doubt, having read your "egg" story, that you are up to the task, with or without having read anything else first. The sky is pretty much the limit with these stories.

Sorry, don't know any. Were I going there, authorwise, I'd use 'method' techniques. BECOME the tentacle critter. FEEL the tentacle powers and weaknesses. BURN with tentacle'd emotions. SQUINT those huge eyes. PROBE with that giant brain. ABUSE those hominids. SWALLOW that barracuda. Etc.

Sounds good! I was rather vague on the number of tentacles in my story. They kept on coming, and some of them had special purposes.
 
I wrote an essay for this last year, in which I tried to convey my opinion of what it means to be a geek/nerd. This year, (Thanks to Chloe for the inspiration), I've decided to enter into it with an actual fiction tale. It is likely still more tame than most of this crowd is used to, but that's okay by me. Thanks again to the support of such a fun group of people, and maybe next year I will get real crazy with it, and actually do something sci-fy?

Ummm...I would like to play.

Right after I saw Chloe's initial post for this event, I wrote a story. https://www.literotica.com/s/conditioned-response

However, I didn't know if it met the criteria for this event. Also, there was a looong time before the event was going to kick off, and I already had another short story sitting in my "drafts" folder waiting on the "On the Job" event.

I was contemplating writing another story along the lines of Conditioned Response for this themed event, but I won't bother to put it in for this event if you guys don't think that other story qualifies. Please let me know if you think my story is "geek enough" for this event.

Okay I'm in.
Sci Fi or Novels/Novella: This will be standalone but with possible build on's.
Title: Road North.
These details are in case somebody has already started similar, no worries I'll happily pull out, I've not laid any real ground work, anyway:
Time period: Directly following Mad Max (the 1979 Original).
New Characters. Similar Machinery.
Action takes place from: Melbourne 3-4 day comfortable road trip(now) in a northerly direction, Nth Queensland.
 
I am working on my story for the event. It will be an incest/taboo story titled "Rolling a One."
 
Nearly done with one story, contemplating trying to squeeze in a second.

Just to run up a test balloon, so to speak...

Does the idea of Pro Wrestling, but in a near future where wrestlers wear Iron-Man-esque power armor, not only to reduce injury risk, but also to allow for flashier special-effects-laden moves, sound interesting to folks?

I'm thinking of using that as the backdrop to a story, with the additional detail of such armor causing intergender matches to become more accepted and normal in wrestling. The story would focus on a male and female wrestlers who are heated rivals in the ring, but are secretly lovers outside of it. Sure, "everyone knows wrestling is scripted", but there's still at least some attempt made to keep the illusion going for the fans, so it wouldn't exactly do for folks to know that two of their top stars are actually fucking like rabbits after every show...

Sound like a fun story idea?

The power armor works well in the sci fi genre for battling aliens. A lot of the books I read use the concept. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work for this. I like the concept.
