I.M. Fauve Gallery

OH!
well hello.

There's rarely much feedback.

I dunno, is there anything tough about you?

yeah, I'm hard as nails... lol I can't even type that with a straight face. :D

nope. I'm squishy, soft and pliable. objections to that? ;)

Very interesting artwork. You are very talented.

Thank you.:)

"interesting" is a fascinating word, one best heard for inflection.
I have found that frequently it is used as a polite euphemism.
"hmmm, this broccoli icecream is... interesting, Mrs. Smith"

heehee

Take the compliment Throbbs...You know you're talented as hell...hint: that's a compliment too...

I said "thank you" :)

and thank you, too.

Just passing on my personal observation and bemusement with "interesting". :D

I think I have realistic view of my abilities, most of the time. Typically, I actually like what I draw or paint, but without feedback, I have no idea if it resonates with any else.

Well, that's ego...tie that bitch up and throw away the key...just do what you love because you love to do it...fuck the feedback...

Wait, don't get crazy now...I mean, er, well, I love to see you work...

fuck that feedback! ;) :D

Seriously, why post stories on LIT except for some sort of feedback (hopefully some positive, or at least constructive)? Likewise with illustrations, or AM pics...or even posts. Everyone wants some validation. Drawing erotic images amuses me, sharing them can be much more fun, provided one knows it is well received. Sex feels great. Sex is much better if you know your partner enjoys it too. < a good fake, is good for the ego......until it is discovered to be fabricated.

who is this "feedback," and why do they get all the action? *pouting*

by the way, I agree with your quote there. ;)

(I might have been a little selective in what I quoted there... just for fun... )

There you go Kim, reading between the lines...

Throbbs, you do get feedback, some of it good and some of it constructive, some of it whatever...But really, if you're going to let the minimal bad feedback stop you, then you're not doing yourself or your audience any good...Letting feedback get you down is like letting the rain in Spain bother you when you live in California...It has nothing to do with you or your work...:D

Yes I enjoy positive feedback on my writing...But I'm going to write regardless of the feedback...I share what I write because that was the challenge I gave myself years ago...I had to share my writing with people other than my family and friends to find out if I actually had talent or if my friends and family were just being supportive of me and my work...

I discovered that no, not everyone enjoys what I write, but yes I have an audience for some of the writing I do...The safe critiques were gone, I didn't even share with my family where I was publishing my stuff...By publishing on Lit I have grown as a writer, so I get something out of it beyond just feedback...and I'm sure if you think about it, you probably get something out of posting your work besides the feedback...If nothing more you're practicing your craft and growing as an artist...

Surprisingly little feedback, really. There is even less discussion. I deal with any bad. Of course, not every one will like what I do, and even those who like some will not like everything. bad feedback will not stop me...no feedback will. IT will never stop me from drawing, but there is no point in sharing.

I get very little out of sharing on LIT without feedback. I will draw even if I don't share it. The same kind of "growth" will happen shared or not, if there is no feedback in either case. If there is feedback, I can potentially do something with it; apply it, consider it, ignore it...

What I admire most about you is the 'ease' with which you can draw almost anything, given you are in the right mood.

And your sarcastic pun statements ...

And how you can talk with yourself on a forum ..

And how you get irritated to see what you consider 'not art' ..

.

And um .. one question:
How would you feel if you were to see the same guy in every porn flick?

Thank you.

Hmmm.. depends on the guy,, I suppose.
True, also of the same woman.

If that alludes the the same guy in my drawings, you can always suggest another.

I still love being able to see the work in progress. I love the rough sketches and being able to see the beginnings of drawing and how you are figuring out where things will go. It's almost like I get to look over your shoulder as you are drawing then.

Thanks for sharing these. :)
