"But Grandma said I could!"

But there may be virtue in grandfathers...

Once I saw mountains angry,
And ranged in battle-front.
Against them stood a little man;
Aye, he was no bigger than my finger.
I laughed, and spoke to one near me,
"Will he prevail?"
"Surely," replied this other;
"His grandfathers beat them many times."
Then did I see much virtue in grandfathers-
At least, for the little man
Who stood against the mountains.

A mountain is just a molehill with a self-inflated ego. :D

Can't talk about Magnums and overlook when Dodge decided to invent a muscle car for soccer moms and dropped a 425 horse hemi in a station wagon.

This explains it better than I could, HP.

So we have rubbers, candy, a mythical PI, a hell-on-wheels car, plenty of champagn, and hand guns. Sounds like all the makings of a plot bunny on steroids to me. :D

A last thought on "magnum," though.

The opening on the bottom of the skull for the spinal cord is called the foramen magnum, Latin, literally for "big hole." I always explained to students that they have to call it that so they don't go home telling their parents that the teacher had them find "the big hole on the bottom."

The opening in my boat hull was not so described by the boat yard.

"A boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money."

Also ... If you would like to experience ocean racing in the safety of your own home, try standing under the shower for an hour or two, tearing up 20 pound notes. :)
