Seriously though what your intuition is telling you is correct. The ones that are coming across as desperate mouth breathers are coming across that way because they are desperate mouth breathers. They have very little success on or offline so they apply a scattershot approach hoping to get any sort of sexual attention and gratification. Which of course is not sexy.
On the other hand, even though on or offline women have a distinct advantage of being able to approach and often act as the gatekeeper for sexual activity men who are used to having some options available to them can afford to be a little choosey. With experience comes the realization that some women, though appealing to our baser instincts initially are really not worth the peril that comes with the crazy portion of the hot/crazy matrices.
If you're not getting an absolute cold shoulder from a guy that you are interested in continue to pursue him. more than once for no particular reason a conversation or thread has sort of petered out and I've not really developed a new conversational thread with someone that I was mildly interested in. Conversations take a bit of work on both parties part. I have had women tell me they were of the impression that I wasn't interested when I in fact was, I just simply wasn't particularly aggressive about it. Just like I'm sure it is with you life gets in the way and conversational balls get dropped.

I don't know about you, but trying to find love on here seems unappealing to me. I get it, common interests and all, but I think I'd be a piece of human jerky from how many grains of salt I take with every PM I receive from a random person. I've met some really nice people on here, but they're few and far between. Often times it's hard to find the good natured ones because they're being drowned in a crowd of horn dogs that want to stick their dick in anything that moves.
I'm perfectly fine with not being in a relationship for now. I'll continue to sit at home, pick my nose, and binge watch crappy netflix series alone.

The amount of douches, narcissists and misogynists that I've come across on this site is staggering. Beats any environment that I was temporarily placed in IRL.
The only decent male posters that I came across (attached or nonattached - doesn't matter, since I'm not looking at them in that way) are either political posters, or authors.
