For some it IS a black and white question.

Just like for some yours would not be a black and white question. If the person I was talking to is a friend or someone who can remain civil and actually carry a discussion, I'd be willing to "argue" if by argue you don't mean a shouting match. Generally, though, I just keep quiet for the most part.

Spend a night in a nice cabin in the woods or in a plush 5 star hotel room?

I don't see how that works as a black and white question unless you're going to move out to the middle of nowhere and stop participating in a community and with civilization.

5 star hotel, with a Michelin star(s) for dinner please
