I don't know whether to be honored or creeped out.
LOL I love how some are more interested in me than the thread's topic. It's either jealousy or stupidity that causes them to forget about six states and care about me. I don't know whether to be honored or creeped out.
And Alaska.
New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.
The right of equal suffrage among the States is another exceptionable part of the Confederation. Every idea of proportion and every rule of fair representation conspire to condemn a principle, which gives to Rhode Island an equal weight in the scale of power with Massachusetts, or Connecticut, or New York; and to Delaware an equal voice in the national deliberations with Pennsylvania, or Virginia, or North Carolina. Its operation contradicts the fundamental maxim of republican government, which requires that the sense of the majority should prevail…. It may happen that this majority of States is a small minority of the people of America; and two thirds of the people of America could not long be persuaded, upon the credit of artificial distinctions and syllogistic subtleties, to submit their interests to the management and disposal of one third. The larger States would after a while revolt from the idea of receiving the law from the smaller.
They're anti-free enterprise. They favor expansions of the state that threaten personal liberty and economic freedom.
The red herring of "California having 12 Senators" ignores the fact that one of the reasons for the proposal is because the different regions of California have different priorities.
There's no reason to believe the 2 Senators from the Northern area would support the 2 Senators from the Southern area in legislation.
two states
They're anti-free enterprise. They love socialism. They favor expansions of the state that threaten personal liberty and economic freedom. They support centralized government (Marxist) solutions to economic problems. They believe in class warfare. They believe in income redistribution. They promote more and more government control of the means of production by both regulation and the confiscation of earnings. They promote living wages in an effort to combat what Lenin called "wage slavery." They labor against private property ownership, in some cases they seize privately owned property, or dictate terms for it's usage that amounts to a "taking of property."
All of these are in line with Marxist policies, or its political realities. So, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck, and you two are either intellectually dishonest, or willfully ignorant.
"Private property ownership" is another red herring.
Just stop paying your property taxes and see who really owns the land.
Give Russia back Alaska? Oh the horror
