What are you craving at this moment?

Listen to brilliant music and gather strength for a run to the village for ant spray and a surge protector. No dental visits this time. No victory secrets of Attila the Hun. I only crave the basics. And maybe ice cream.

A large, bubbling cauldron of molten Gruyère with a platter of crusty cubes of French bread, thick slices of saucisson sec, tart cornichons, and some crisp, pickled florets of cauliflower. Along with a bottle of Rhône wine to wash it all down with.

Then a nap.

Better painkillers. New eyes. A working heart. Various repairs. And a goat.

A fat hunk of flesh, a bottle of bloody red, and a naked man to serve me.
