It's one of your usual tightly crafted "role play with Michelle" stories. Does she do anything other than role play, I wonder? She's quite the chameleon.

Charlotte also does some interesting role plays in the stories about her.

I think these women are doing these games to make their less-than-mature relationships more interesting and for a while they do succeed. But not indefinitely - read "Lioness Limousine." The narrator knows that Charlotte's graduation will also be the end of her relationship with him.
