I hate the Dallas Cowboys, but now I have to follow them. I was hoping my Buccaneers would pick him up. I never would've thought Jerry Jones would step up and sign an openly gay player.

I hope this kids bravery brings more male athletes out of the closet.

Football in Texas: Texans love football more than they hate homosexuals or people with darker skin tones. And Jerry Jones is such a football whore, he'll hire anyone who he thinks will get him a winning team.

But I wonder, should the cow-puffs not make the playoffs (yet again), how fast will Texas fundies blame it on god punishing the team for having a homosexual on the roster?
