Keeping up with baby

*hugs* Trust me you can do it and when you get to see that little baby for the first time you forget all that you have been through. It's all worth it, you'll be fine.:kiss::rose:

*shakes head* I don't know.....

When did you first feel baby flutters?

Oh trust me, you can do it. Just think of all the options you have, think of what women used to have to go through and the fact that we have it easy nowadays, lol. Seriously make sure you ask for things like painmeds early in labor, that way you are sure to get them and they can't tell you that it's too latey.

I can't quite remember, I think it was early in the 4th month though could have been a little sooner. I know it took months before hubby was able to feel them, but both cases were some of the greatest moments in the world.

Still haven't felt anything I can identify as flutters or bubbles...but I can always tell what side he's on, if that makes sense. I'll probably walk to the clinic tomorrow. Then again it's my first full pregnancy so it could take a while to feel anything discernible.

You might not feel anything for a while yet, all women are different in that aspect as well. It also depends on the baby, one never knows but I wouldn't be concerned if I was you.

Another question if you don't mind me asking, if you don't want to answer that's fine. Do you plan on breast feeding? *says with baby latched on and chuckles*

I do plan on it. I'll be really pissed if I don't end up being able to, but c'est la vie and all that. If genetics are involved, I shouldn't really have a problem....

*mind immediately eased*

I wasn't sure I'd be able to, but one is apparently easily surprised. I just wish I would have known it's not as easy as it sounds but it's definitel rewarding. :)

I probably will be able to, but I've done some reading and watched some shows, and it's definitely harder than it seems.

I'm sure you've seen my posts and my issues that I've had, well not just me but little Hunter as well. But I wouldn't stop for the world, I'm definitely glad I made the decision and stuck with it. Though occasionally I do pump a bottle so that hubby can feed, that way he gets some bonding time too. Heck our little man didn't latch on for about 24 hours after birth, but that is entirely normal. Don't be afraid to utilize resources, hell I've talked to the lactation specialist numerous times, lol.

Breastfeeding is actually the least of my worries at this point. There is just too much else I'm trying to get done and taken care of before my life becomes even more complicated...lol

Yeah well there will be things you forget no matter how well prepared you are and no matter how well you plan things out, trust me on this one, lol.

I just mean all the forms I'm trying to fill out, all the appointments, etc. Looking for jobs, trying to resolve a pending lawsuit.

I know....trying very hard. *sigh*

I know it's hard, trust me I know. I overstressed myself and got sick a few times, what is most important is that you do what your body tells you to do even if it is napping or eating or something like that. No matter how minor it may seem do it because your body knows what it is talking about.

I feel really bad for sleeping so much, and eating.

Sad, huh?

Lol, not surprised as a lot of people do. It's not sad at all, quite natural really. I had times when I ate a hell of a lot and times when I didn't eat much at all. What is sad is me feeling bad when I got sick, lol.

Yeah...I hate feeling ashamed for being hungry, sleepy, hormonal...whatever...you name it. And 90% of the time I just want to cry.

Did you have the stuffy nose syndrome too?

Stuffy nose syndrome is an understatement. I actually had 4 sinus infections while pregnant because until the last couple of months I couldn't really take anything for my allergies. I did cry quite a bit, then again I do that when I get emotional. Which makes it even worse, stuffy nose is part of the territory that no one tells you about, lol.

I was actually sort of clueless for a while. I'd had a cold during Christmas season, which didn't really surprise me, as colds sneak up on me all the time. When I calculated and realized that I was still nursing a "cold" by the end of February, I checked my Baby Center newsletter.

Big DUH realization. :D

Anyway, just recently I did get a cold on top of the constant stuffiness. Kind of hard to tell when it's coming on, but the sneezes one right after the other should have tipped me off.

I'm assuming that since Tylenol is just about the only safe thing to take, is Tylenol Cold & Allergy safe? Do you know if St. John's Wort is safe to take?

Thank GOD I'm not the only crier.

Tylenol is safe as if tylenol PM, though the PM might be later in pregnancy but I'm not sure. I know Clariten is safe, Benedril is safe after 12 weeks...If you want I can try to find my list to see what is safe and what is not so I can pass it on to you.

That'd be cool. Thanks.

I'm not feeling up to par tonight...don't mind me.

Clariten is definitely a safe one and so is benedril, not sure about the tylenol one though. You may want to ask at your next appointment. Either that or you can compare active ingredients in the tylenol and both clariten and benedril, if they are the same then you will be fine.

I heard from a few people that Tylenol was safe, but it was Tylenol PM and I only took it a couple times when my toothache got really bad or I couldn't shake a bad headache.

I'm probably too chicken to try taking anything else, even if it IS safe.

Tylenol PM is one of the ones I took to help me sleep, unisom was the other one that I was allowed to take. I tried not taking anything but when you can't get comfortable and are only getting 2 hours of sleep at a time without sleep aids then you need to do something to get sleep. I alternated between the two because my body has a tendancy to build up immunities to meds. I was so glad to be able to take my advil liquigels after giving birth, tylenol doesn't work too well with me...
