You don't need to miss him. He still posts. Just not under that name. And he still gets the board to light up. Really did a job on somebody recently. (Or, rather, they had each fingered to a T.)

Many of the missed are around on other forums.
I believe many left due to the general demeanour of the threads and posts 3-4 years back.
They are good people whose lives moved on, sometimes with other Lit members, several married, and sometime RL snatched them away to happiness. Others divorced and couldn't express themselves on Lit through their trauma.
They look out for one another and a found a family of friends that no longer needed Lit as a medium to express themselves.

Good to see so many new names posting!

Send me a PM about where, if you or they don't mind me knowing. I don't do facebook. I have more than enough procrastination with just Lit.

Selena, Danielle, FallingToFly, Aurora Black. Odds are I wouldn't have half as much posted as I do ( if that ) without the encouragement/first reads/etc. coming from them in the early days.

Odds are you wouldn't be missing Selena or Danielle if the site didn't decide to choose scouries over them.

Scouries and his crap has gone on way too long.

I would love to see the forum boycott pilot for a week. For one week every member post him on ignore and sees how much more enjoyable the AH is without him.

People could ask questions without being told they are stupid.

People could start threads about their writing without being accused of "look at me"

And most importantly people could express their thoughts and opinions without being told they're idiots and always wrong.

People would see a difference. And without him around bullying new authors I-and others who do it- could stop getting in the middle of it and handing him his ass and just do what we're supposed to do, talk about writing

Most of all Paco Fear, an excellent writer and a great help to me when I first came here.

I was having no luck with the VE (like many here) and after reading one of his stories (and thinking, jeez this guys good, man I suck!) I sent him a private feedback asking a couple of questions.

Within an hour he replies and says to send along my story (which had been rejected) I figured he would give me a couple of quick tips...he sends me back an e-mail that was like a short novel. Told me a bunch of things he liked, then went down the list of what he felt I needed to fix and spotted the reason for the rejection which was grammar related.

We went back and forth quite a bit and he was huge help and a good mentor until he sort of drifted back off into real life.

I recall sending him SWB chapter one for an opinion and he came back with "way to dark and rough for me, but...you're going to make your bones here as one hell of an edgy bastard with this thing and that's more important than popular opinion.

That comment helped me through that series when the low comments and vote and view totals might have deterred me otherwise. He taught me it was about telling the damn story I wanted to tell, first and best lesson I learned here.

In my time here I've tried to pay that forward and help people who reach out to me and I know others here do as well. A lot of 'good' goes on behind the scenes here which is great, but it seems its getting to the point it rarely happens on the boards.

Rambling, but just thinking its a shame we don't have him and others like him around anymore.

We've all been emotionally abused by this one woman and now we all know why, Sr71plt is Scouries.

If this was the 17th century, being so accused, we'd burn her. If this was the 17th century, we'd strip the woman naked and stone her. Yet, sadly and alas, all that we can do is to ignore her.

These forum boards can be a wonderful place and a great resource for writers. These forum boards are no place for bullies. It's time we gave Scouries/Sr71plt the boot in the ass that she so deserves.

Perhaps LoveCraft is right. Perhaps if we put this evil witch who's a real bitch on ignore for a week, it will teach her to be polite, kind, and humble. Perhaps if no one will put up with her lunacy until she acts better towards all, being ignored will teach her some much needed humility.

I'm glad I came forward with the truth. I'm glad that I told all that Sr71plt is Scouries. I've hid her identity long enough. It's time that everyone knew that Sr71plt is not bi-sexual or a gay man but a lesbian woman. It's true.

Sr71plt aka Scouries is a lesbian. Normally all are welcome here no matter their race, creed, or sexual orientation but when someone abuses our friendship by constantly and continuing attacking us, how much can we take?

One only needs to read her poisonous posts to realize that she's never said a kind thing about anyone. Get help Sr71plt. Talk to a professional to discover why you're such a cunt. Perhaps it's as simple as you were sexually abused by a trusted relative or friend of the family. Yet, that's no reason to take out your shit on us.
