Speaking of Doom 'n Gloom....

Killing Obamacare Is Killing The Republican Party

The number of Americans willing to directly identify with the Republican Party is reaching historic lows. The Pollster.com rolling average of GOP party identification now stands at 22 percent and has been declining fairly steadily for the last several years. The latest poll from Pew Research Center — perhaps the most reliable of all pollsters — has the GOP down to only 19 percent identification

But hai, they don't need to change their message, they simply need to evict the RINOs and be MOAR conservative....

I say

Let EVERYONE have it

THEN THEY WILL BE HAPPY

It was a very bad week for Obamacare.

Delta Airlines said its health costs will rise by $100 million next year;
UPS and UVA are dropping working spouses from health coverage;
The Nevada AFL-CIO said Obamacare will hurt full-time work;
Teen retailer Forever 21 reduced employee hours; and
Young people in Colorado will have to pay more for basic insurance.

Democrats Who Wrote Obamacare Cashing In As Lobbyists…

I know, what a surprise.

Via The Hill:

ObamaCare has become big business for an elite network of Washington lobbyists and consultants who helped shape the law from the inside.

More than 30 former administration officials, lawmakers and congressional staffers who worked on the healthcare law have set up shop on K Street since 2010.

Major lobbying firms such as Fierce, Isakowitz & Blalock, The Glover Park Group, Alston & Bird, BGR Group and Akin Gump can all boast an ObamaCare insider on their lobbying roster — putting them in a prime position to land coveted clients.

“When [Vice President] Biden leaned over [during healthcare signing] and said to [President] Obama, ‘This is a big f’n deal,’” said Ivan Adler, a headhunter at the McCormick Group, “he was right. ”

Squeal, my little bitches, squeal!

Keep those post counts risin'!

Drown out dissent!

The Price of a Preposterous Presidency

Just how much are we paying for the gooey warm glow of sanctimony liberals derive from Barack Obama’s “historic” presidency? The total cost is incalculable, but The Economic Collapse lists 33 documented facts that give a general idea in monetary terms, including:

• When the Obama era began, the average duration of unemployment in this country was 19.8 weeks. Today, it is 36.6 weeks.

• During the first four years of Obama, the number of Americans “not in the labor force” soared by an astounding 8,332,000. That far exceeds any previous four year total.

• Median household income in America has fallen for four consecutive years. Overall, it has declined by over $4000 during that time span.

• The poverty rate has shot up to 16.1 percent. That is actually higher than when the War on Poverty began in 1965.

• When Barack Obama entered the White House, there were about 32 million Americans on food stamps. Today, there are more than 47 million Americans on food stamps.

• When Barack Obama took office, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline was $1.85. Today, it is $3.53.

• Electricity bills in the United States have risen faster than the overall rate of inflation for five years in a row.

• Health insurance costs have risen by 29 percent since Barack Obama became president, and Obamacare is going to make things far worse.

• During Obama’s first term, the federal government accumulated more new debt than it did under the first 42 U.S presidents combined.

• When you break it down, the amount of new debt accumulated by the U.S. government during Obama’s first term comes to approximately $50,521 for every single household in the United States.

Meanwhile, the media that put Obama in power and keeps him there despite his growing list of impeachable offenses tells us that we are in a recovery.

I propose we start calling Obamacare by it's rightful name, Boehnercare. After all the only people fighting to fund Obamacare are establishment Republicans. If they fund it they own it. Time to primary the chickenshit cowards.

Well, you've finally figured out who the problems are.:rolleyes:

Whoa. You aren't claiming the single greatest advancement in the last twenty years.

They have the distinct power to defund it, they fail in that duty and they own it. The Pubs were given the House for the purpose of stopping Obama care, those in the Republican Party who are preventing that from happening need to be primaried by conservative Republicans or Tea Party types.

Please do. Please think that the Pubs weren't given the House simply because the economy wasn't perfect. The utter destruction of your party will be delicious and I can't wait to sample the tears of unfathomable sadness when this is over.

Obama, Holder, Jarrett Meet With Al Sharpton And Black Leaders At White House To Enlist Their Help Pushing Obamacare…

Readout of the President’s Meeting with African-American Faith Leaders

This morning, the President met with African-American faith leaders to discuss the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom and how civil rights and equality are closely tied to voting rights and closing the gap on education, unemployment, and access to health care. The faith leaders from major African-American church denominations are in Washington to mark the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. The President noted that while the country has made enormous strides in the decades since the March, more work remains to be done to ensure that our country is more fair, more free, and more just than it was 50 years ago. The President noted that his Administration is continuing to fight to ensure that the right to vote is protected, and he also discussed the upcoming start of open enrollment in the Health Insurance Marketplace, and that the difficult but critical work of enrolling millions of Americans in health exchanges around the country continues. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, an estimated 7.3 million African Americans with private insurance now have access to expanded preventive services with no cost, and nearly 7 million African Americans without health insurance will newly have access to quality, affordable health insurance options in 2014. The faith leaders told the President about their plans to work with their congregations and partners to inform people about the Marketplace. The President thanked the leaders for their prayers, and said that he looks forward to continuing to work with them. The President and the faith leaders concluded their meeting with a prayer.

A photo of the meeting is available here.

People are afraid the dumb son of a bitch might act out of ignorance, stupidity, inexperience, and illegality, without considering consequences in the future. All we have to remember is the outcome of Bill Clinton's flaying away with Tomahawk strikes.

Even though he's never done any of those things in the past and if anything he seems to be far too concerned about the consequences of any action than makes any logical sense?

I guess your probably right though. There are a lot of stupid sons of bitches in the US who haven't been watching the news for the last five years. It's funny how he's weak if he doesn't attack and stupid if he does.

We have no strategic interests there, period. What will a missile strike accomplish without boots on the ground? We have terrible human intelligence assets at play in the area. We really don't know where those weapons are or their quantity. The Russians have a big base there, what if those weapons are being stored on that base? What are the secondary effects of such an action?

It's in the Middle East and could destablize the region. We have a strategic interest there. The question is if there is any reason to really think the new guys will be any better or worse than the current guys.

I agree we don't seem to have great intel on the area and the Russians may very well have the weapons and the consequences of a strike against Russia could be very bad for America and our allies. Nobody is arguing that.

As for a missile strike without boots on the ground the last couple of years have proven that the US forcing the government to fight fair can accomplish a great deal without boots on the ground but I mostly agree with you on that issue.

So far however being rash isn't something that Obama is known for. Just over a month ago everybody was bitching about him not attacking.
