I started this in AH, but many of you don't wander off that way:

I hope y'all have a relaxed, comfortable, and tasty Thanksgiving. No politics, except lighthearted razzing. A good game or a good book or whatever turns you on today. With some spice thrown in.

And to everyone, American or not: thank you for such a lovely, friendly space you've all made here. It's been a joy to be part of it.

Thank you Mer! I'm thankful that you (and AH) got involved in the forum. You've both brought wonderful poems and good will with you.

And Happy Thanksgiving to all my American colleagues here. I don't know about you but, for me, that second big piece of pie was a mistake. ~burp~

:heart:

I second your sentiment Mer, I'm truly thankful for this place and the people who've made it so welcoming and educational.

Angeline, for me it was maple bacon crack. The name is very fitting, I'm not gonna say how many pieces I ate, lol.

I'm still paying for my second piece of pie.

In the past I had wondered whether there was a place for me in the Lit fora, and now PF&D seems to be it. Thanks for your hospitality.

echoing you all :heart::rose:

i count my blessings for Lit - this oddly familiar backwater - and the people here who've enriched my life :heart::kiss:

I ate half of a 24 lb turkey, an assortment of dinner rolls and two slices of chocolate pie.

And then an entire bag of potato chips during the late football game.

My stomach kinda hurts today. :rolleyes:

Oh yes. I would have been all over that bacon, too. It's meat candy!

This is a genteel kinda place but with porn and also many smart, interesting creative people. I guess that sounds self-serving coming from the mod lol, but I really believe it. :)
