Oh, you're kidding! That soon? Eek! Given how many Lit authors are doing NaNo this year, I foresee a big scrambling rush there in the final week!

~angels, shepherds, wisemen
~immaculate conception (I'd love to do one of these two ideas, but is it too sensitive an issue to eroticize on here?)
~charity work
~scrooge (It's probably been done before, but an erotic scrooge would be great)

Re: Winter Holiday Story 2004 Contest Ideas
No Reindeer?!?
I hear their hung better than horses!
LOL
Actually, I had a great idea for an office party story that I started in June. Editing it one time, I realized that since I had already made it a Christmas Office party, I'd save it for just this contest.

Just a note: IIRC, St. Nicholas was originally a bogeyman sort who had a tendency to cane naughty children.

What is it about the word naughty that just thrills me and sends shivers down my spine?

Down there in the US, your winter holiday includes thanksgiving, right? What about a pilgrims/indians story?

incest christmas?
Home for the Holidays is a populr theme for seasonal incest stories, but how about this:
~Dad plays Santa ( at the office party? at family reunion?), gets really into the eggnog. Family has plans, so they are all in the car when he gets picked up. He is poured into backseat between nubile daughters while Mom drives ( son rides shotgun). Nature follows Lit's course.
PS: my story is underway. all ideas I post here are fair to take and free.

Well, it was more the voyeuristic aspect of it that caught my mind...
Also...he knows if you've been bad or good...he already knows, so I can't lie to him when he asks me if I've been a good little girl this year....
I'm sorry Santa. I tried. I really did. But sometimes it's just so hard to be good...

Wow...and yet another fantasy tied into it all. So...who's gonna volunteer to be my Santa?
Nola
*thinking about being watched, snuck up on, spanked, eaten, and being forced to test all those sex toys...not necessarily in that order*

The weather outside is frightful
so carollers take shelter in the spooky house at the end of the rode. Then they get snowed in. It ids Christmas Eve. One of them finds some booze. Others explore the house. Some play spin the bottle or strip poker.
Potential to spin from there into any sort of story you want....

I once saw a children's book about a vampire's Christmas. I think it was a childrens' book, anyway. That could be an interesting plot to follow.
Since I rather go for the NonHuman stuff, I was really wondering how one could mesh that with Christmas. I'm not a fast enough writer to really do all the holiday stuff (unless it's a year in advance ), but I think a story with some woman snuggling into a wolf's heavy fur coat (and the wolf is, in this circumstance, her werewolf boyfriend or whatever) for a quiet moment would be nice.
[Werewolves don't get any snuggle credit- a wolf is effectively just a big dog, but everyone (including me) thinks of sex with a werewolf as rough. Not that that's a bad thing. ]

On the non-human theme, what about the abominable snowman from the old stop-motion Rudolph movie? A she-elf from the north pole goes on some sort of adventure in the days leading up to Christmas, and finds love with a giant yeti-type character.
She can also discover The Island of Lost Toys.
