"Iran approved plans Sunday to build 10 industrial scale uranium enrichment facilities, a dramatic expansion of the program in defiance of U.N. demands it halt enrichment and a move that is likely to significantly heighten tensions with the West."

It doesn't look like anything will be done to stop these warmongers. The UN is impotent. The US is looking the other way. Israel is on their own and will probably be universally condemned if they take any military action.

did you really think they would acquiesce to the world? did you really? Saddam had bad timing, lets face it. Iran has the perfect storm, a President who isn't a war monger and friends like Russia and China. |

There is no way that Isreal will let Iran have nukes. Of course we should also be prepared for oil prices to skyrocket to levels never seen before after Isreal bombs them. Which I believe they will.

It's likely that within the next three months that what appear to be those pesky, aggressive Israelites will blow the crap out of said enrichment sites as well as several other things.

Unlikely.. Iran isn't stupid and has decentralized, made redundant, and extremely hardened their entire nuke program.
Israel might be able to "blow the crap" out of a few isolated sites, but at most they could only temporarily slow down the whole program.
And Iran would of course do everything they could toclose the Strait of Hormuz, attack Israel, etc.
Not to mention the howls from Russia and China.
The USA would have no choice but to denounce Israel.
The only way to stop Iran would be a massive aerial or ground campaign, probably both.
Not just some small potatoes pinpoint air strikes like what happened with Osirak in "Operation Opera".
