My Amish Mom by worst, any one want to follow up ?

I read "My Amish Mom" by worst & I just loved it. But the problem that the author never finished it.
From reading comments I can tell that a lot of people wish the story to be finished.

Is it possible for another author to finish someone else work or it is not permitted?

Not the answer your looking for.

That’s a minefield area for any author to go into. Taking someone else’s work and putting your own twist onto it would leave you open to some heavy duty slanging matches on Lit.

This may be a stupid question, have you tried contacting him and seeing why he hasn’t finished the story?

It's been a general consensus by the authors at Lit that none of us will touch another's work. Your best bet is to contact the original author. I know that can be frustrating, especially here at Lit where it seems many people will "drop off the face of the earth and not come back".

Unfortunately that author joined two and a half years ago, posted the story within a week or so of joining, and has had no detectable activity since. It looks to me like a "tried it once and didn't like it".

I did sent him a message but no reply. The story was really good & different. Too bad that he never finished it.
