Shawn was on his front porch, working out. He lifted a heavy barbell over and over again in the summer heat, a bit of sweat seeming to highlight his muscles. He counted outloud "Thirty," and re-racked his weight above him.

Standing, he grabbed a beer from the cooler next to him and cracked it open. He took a nice pull from the bottle and stood there for a second watching the sun set behind the horizon.

There had been a couple of cute girls that seemed to jog past his place every night just as he was finishing up working out. He decided that if they came by tonight, he'd offer them a beer and see what happened.
