Posts: 14,449	What a movie I watched the movie Apollo 13 when it first hit the theaters oh so many years ago. The other day I picked it up in the sales bin at a local store and tonight I watched it. The movie will well done and held my attention too. But with the space craft wobbling all over the place and no telemetry, the crew shot their re-entry by eye, guess work and hope, making a perfect landing. That was just extraordinary. The movie did a great job of portraying the hardships and some of the many obstacles the crew had to overcome. The acting was superb. I agree the movie didn't show everything. Then again look at the time frame of the entire mission. Trying to fit that into a 150 minute movie. On the other hand there is no way to show everything in a movie no matter how long you make it or how intense you make the cast act. You just have to go through a bit of absolute terror and then try to describe it to understand this.

This was one of the few Tom Hanks movies I have truly enjoyed.
