Keep me company!
Hola! I've not been around much in the past few months. Between grad school (what the hell was I thinking!?!), kids, work, and the SO life has been very crazy busy, but in a good way. I've been peeking into threads a bit, but I feel like I have no idea what's up with everyone and what's new around here- so tell me!!!
Also, on a selfish note, I could use some "company." My SO is going up north for eleven days, so I'm on my own and it feels so lonely. Which is sort of pathetic since he only left about twenty minutes ago. Clearly it's going to be a long eleven days.
So- how's life for everyone? What's new? What's everyone doing for the holidays? Know any good jokes?  Wanna keep me company for the next eleven days so I don't go totally off my nut?

Eleven days alone.  I'm glad to see you miss him. It's a very good sign.

I don't know how Texas is, I'm working over in Louisiana more than I'm home.
Other than kids and the SO, how's life treating you? I know college can be a bitch but hang in there, it'll end sooner than later. |

Life is good. Grad school is HARD, and I'm approaching my first set of final projects and that's a little scary, but overall life is pretty damned good.

Well maybe not. Booze makes me horny, but if you drink enough, you pass out and forget your horny. The problem is that you forget alot of other things too along the way. So the hardest part of the day without the SO home is going to be the evenings. And here it is evening and I'm feeling icky. I'm sure in a couple days this will be no big deal, but tonight, I really really hate it.

I'm getting off work and going into town for a hot meal that someone else cooked. See you in the morning

I'm getting my MA in Public Service with a specialization in nonprofit management; it's just my first semester, so I don't graduate till May 2011. A LONG way off!
I saw your post about cravings- there's definitely not a requirement for that. My cravings were different with all three kids, at different points in the pregnancy. And yes there are definitely times when you're pregnant when nothing sounds good to eat.
Btw, congrats! I don't know if I posted my congrats when you announced on FB, but I thought it and I've been smiling at all your updates.
