It was a clear cool summers night, the heat off the road still cooked the air but the sun had been down for some time. Lance found that this was one of the sweetest times to be cruising in the fresh twilight of the early night. The earth itself was still in the grips of the suns blazing fury, but the air had long wrestled free.

His dark hair wavered in the gusts as they buffeted his window, his rig growling through the night. He was pulling another Long Haul from washington state out to the east coast. he ran the night. Choosing only to cruise when the su was down, during the day he holed up in the half cab, where he slept. This routine suited his...condition.

His 18 wheeler growled adn screamed as he careened down the straight dark lane in the rolling hillocks of a cool Utah. As his rig crested another little hill he saw the first car of the night. He stretched his long legs and let his long muscular arms reach out, one reaching through the window into the night, his brown leather flesh taught over his etched muscles. the tight white shirt and his jeans were all he ever wore, he had several pair but found they suited for every occasion.

Quickly his rig flew down the other side of the hill, the cool silver paint job reflecting the starlight and those of the cars as he neared to a half mile of it. A smile etched across his dark face, the strong chin and dark green eyes shimmering in the light of the stars

"Well what do we have we here? " he asked himself over the song on the radio. The songs were the only company he had had in a long time, he felt lonely and could not help but wonder about the driver, all alone out here on this desolate stretch of road. He liked being alone, but no one liked being alone for long.

Nikki lets out a huff as she leans again her car again, head down. The thing refused to start. Again. She had just gotten it fixed but they had found nothing, stupid mechanics. Her hand runs through her long red hair as she sighs again, looking up to see if any cars are coming.

Lucky for her a semi seems to be comign down her way, the sound unmistakable even if the headlights could just be a large vehicle. She steps up to the edge of the road, waving her arm in the air a bit to get the drivers attention. Her shirt hugging her chest as she does so, though she doesnt even notice.

Watching the semi slow as it approaches she puts her best smile on. This road isnt traveled too often and if the driver refused her a ride she was screwed...

Lance pulled his rig to a slow stop, bearing onto the shoulder of the road he cam to a stop 50 feet behind the broken down car. Beside the car stod a woman with long red hair, her hand raise dup in greeting. Lance put his rig into park, and leaving the engine running, he steped out of the truck. He walked up to the young woman.

"Car trouble I assume. What seems to be the problem with it" he asked as he stepped up closer to her, his tall lean 6'2 frame standing over her, he looked down into her face, noticing her clear green eyes, adn of course he could not help but notice the way her shirt hugged tightly to her body.

"I dont know much about engines and the like but I can certainly give you a ride somewhere." he told her in a gruff voice that was filled with a sothing tone.

She watches nervously as the man gets out of his semi, walking toward her and her broken car. Nodding as he assesses the situation she notices how small she feels standing next to him, being only 5'4'', her curves are pronounced seeing as the are 36, 28, 40. Not the perfect measurements but she was sure happy with them and dressed to show it. The jeans on her hips are tight to her knees, showing off her thighs before flaring out to barely show her bare sandaled toes. Ontop her tshirt is a light blue in color, tight around her breasts and showing glimpses of her belly when her hands raise. Her green eyes wonder over the truck man's body in appreciation as she agrees with what he says, her gaze returning to his face as he offers a ride.

"That would be great. Once I get to the next town I can call a tow truck and my sister, my cell just wont get signal out here." She smiles softly and shrugs at the unreliability of technology. "Are you sure it wont bother you to have a ride-along?" Her teeth come out to bite her lip nervously as she asks, her own politeness demanding tht she do so.

Lance nodded at her. This may very well be an oppurtunity for a distraction that he had een lacking for some time, he thouhgt to himself as he spoke to her. Her eyes were quite enticing, and her flesh was more so, he could only imagine how she would...taste. The ages had come adn gone in a blur and so many people these days were tainted by one drug or another, finiding something like her out her was more then a...well it cold not be a blessing but certainly a fortuitous turn of fate. he smiled

"No it is no problem at all. I think the next town is some ways off though, at least what might pass for a town. As to the cell phones, well we are practically in the middle of nowhere" he told her as he turned with her to head back to his rig. He glanced at her before heading back as she locked up her car. Her jeans hugged her hips and thighs, showing sweet rounding curves that made his eyes linger. her tight blue top showed the form of an ample chest and he had to force the smile that rose to his lips to fade away as she turned back.

"This can indeed be an unfavorable stretch of raod, most of them are around here. That is why I prefer to do my driving at night, its so much cooler" he told her as he proffered an arm toward his truck.
"Please let me help you in" he told her as the headed to the truck.

"Where were you heading?" he asked her nonchalantly as he opened the door for her, giving her a hand to grab should she need it to climb into the rig.

After gathering her small overnight bag and purse she follows him to his rig, eyeing it with mild trepidation. Her head bobs as she nods along to what he says about the road, thinking it odd but if it works for him... She shakes her head at his question.

"No where in particular. I wanted to go on a bit of a road trip, but you can see how well that is going." She smiles softly up at him, putting her bag on the floor of the truck before climbing in, using his offered hand as well as the door to do so. Settling into the seat she watches him settle into his own seat, her eyes taking in his form from beneath her lashes. A shiver of attraction runs down her spine.

Lance had watched as she climbed in, her form was quite enticing. Once they were inside his rig he watched her from the corner of his eye as she buckled in. The seatbelt slid between her breasts tightening the fabric of her shirt. Lance felt his pulse rise, if it could really be said to rise. The scent of her was soon intoxicating to him and he could hear her heart beating over the roar of the engine as he dropped the truck into gear and they struck out onto the road.

"No where in particular huh. Those kind of road trips always end up being the best" he told her with a smile as the moonlight began to play across his face as the headed east. Lance let the walls of hisind slacken, sending out his essence into the ether. Thousands of years had been his to perfect this talent, it was a perk of the gift he had recieved millenia ago. His mind reached out and he fed the psychic ether between them with the growing neednhe himself was begining to feel

"You are extremely lucky to have me come by, you could have been stranded for hours" he told her as he glanced over at her, his eyes trailing up her well rounded thighs and the curve of he breast as the seatbelt pushed it up slightly, making it appear to swell even larger

"So what were you hoping to find at your nowhere in particular? I am just glad that I could help you on your way"

Nikki relaxed into the seat slowly, the rumble and vibrations of the engine soothing her. She smiled and nodded in response to his comment. "Thats what I have been told." Leaning her head back against the seat she sighs, her eyes pop open from their closed state at his next comment. "Lucky me." A blush steals over her cheeks as she catches his eyes roaming her figure.

"Excitement. I come from a small town and nothing ever happens there." She pauses a moment, a slightly confused look coming over her face. "I dont remember catching your name earlier, I'm Nikki by the way." Her green eyes look over you curiously as she waits to hear the name of the man who saved her from being stranded.

"I am Lance" he says as he makes eye contact, seeing her emerald eyes framed by her long red hair, his fervor rises. Lance has always been patient though, never woul he have lived so long had he been brash and fool hardy.

"Small town gal finally getttng out huh? Well congratulations on that. There si ana maazing world out there too see and so much to do?." he told her with a smile that seemed to make his eyes glow against his pale flesh. His sharp angled face seemed made for the small smile, adn the slight curving of his lips.

"well I must sya that I do enjoy the company." he said with another one of his warming smiles adn as he smiled his eyes drew at her, pulling all doubt and hesitation from her, hie mind filled her with thejoy of being out, adn un abated, unrestrained. As he turned his eyes back to the road, they trailed over the curve of her full breasta again, he let her see him looking. he wanted her too, adn she felt his approval through the ether that was now charged by his mental prowess
