hey everybody just another newbie here
I've recently come to terms with being gay and i thought this website would be a good place to find some support. I'm honestly a little overwhelmed with this whole being gay thing and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to put myself out there and explore this new side of me.

raffi had some good advice.

No one can or should tell you how out you want to be. But just be cautious. Not everyone is tolerant and accepting. Certainly if you feel safe and secure with the people you socialize with, work with, go to school with, whatever, then only you know how much you want to reveal.

Gay bars can be tough. Some are great, some can a bit more challenging. Ask around, go with a friend or two.

If you like the sports or the outdoors, realjock and/or gayoutdoors dot org are both great places to meet other sports minded gay men.
