did you get the inspiration for this picture from a b&w photo, morli? don't get me wrong - not saying this is not your work, only that I think I saw a b&w photo the other day when the b&w pics thread was posting and I went looking for contributions
don't remember the brolly in it though, lol. maybe it was there. meh

And by the way, artists use photos and other images for inspiration and I know it's my work. If Warhol can screen print Marylin's photo, I can recreate a scene from the 1920s.

A "My Paintings" thread would effectively be an online gallery at Lit for you. You could keep updating the first page as an index, as they do in AmPics, and bump it whenever you've got new work.
