I don't think "HCR paying for abortions" is the issue, so much as it would potentially prohibit women from obtaining abortions even if they have purchased their own insurance. That's hardly an extreme view IMO.
Looking at Rory's list, it strikes me that none of them hold elected office. There must be, at minimum, 75 Republicans in Congress that are farther to the right of the left-most person in Congress.

I think most of your list falls under the heading of "public policy positions I disagree with" than anything truly fringe. There's nothing there as outrageous as, for example, a belief that the President is not an American citizen, or that health care reform is a front for the mass killings of the elderly.
