What do we think of Stargate Universe?
A few or six weeks in, do we like it? I want to... I really want to, but I'm not so sure. It sure doesn't want to get a Johnny two-thumbs down so I hope it picks up the pace a bit.
I don't like the communication rock things. Dumb concept.
I want space battles.

I saw the movie Stargate way back in the day when it was first released. In fact if I remember right I saw it on opening day. I hated it and have never seen a single episode of any Stargate series because of that.
Fucking space Egyptians. What the fuck?

I loved Stargate Atlantis.
The original Stargate series was hard to get into because McGuyver kept saying dumb things.

SciFi channel. The third series in the "Stargate" franchise.
I also thought Star Trek Enterprise was the best of that franchise.

Hard to beat good sci fi. In school I used the hugo and nebula as reading lists.
You mean Next Generation?

Enterprise followed the Next Generation series. It was about the first warp-drive Enterprise. Kinda cheesy, but entertaining.

Didn't it have the Quantum Leap guy in it?
I didn't watch the Star Treak show but I loved Quantum Leap. Except for the finale. I made a thread about that. I'm still not happy.

McGuyver needs to be on the Simpsons again.

Yea, Quantum Leap guy is Captain Archer. He has a beagle named Porthos, which is cool.

I'm just trying to be accurate. We're talking about Star Trek.

I'm not so much into the Stargate Universe series, it reminds me of the BSG series and I did not care for that either. Does Warehouse 13 remind anyone of the Friday the 13th series?

I'm not sure yet. I want to like it but I'm just don't know. I'm still watching, so I guess that's a good indication. I know I'd like it a lot more if it managed to have Jason Momoa.

I never accepted ds9 as Trek. They pretty much sat in one place. And that indian guy in Voyager annoyed the hell out of me.
