What the hell's happened to the X-Factor this year?

sneer away, but I usually follow it each year, and each year has its horrors but also some gems. This year I saw the initial few weeks and not much else. Watching it at the moment, the quality has fallen down something shocking this year. Have some of the better singers fallen by the wayside due to the public vote?

looks like Dannyl's the only one there - maybe I missed some

yep - it's a bit crap. some of them started off with some talent, but they've had it drummed out of them in the quest for marketable mediocrity.

i still watch it though!

this is the first time I've seen it in about 6 weeks and was - indifferent
