Back then there was a different vibe and it seemed more fun. In fact, I started that Pookie thread in an attempt to recreate some of that fun. It worked pretty well.

Pookie was pissed because everyone was typing Spooky all over the board for Halloween. So we started typing Pookie all over the board to really fuck up her vanity search. It was funny and several clever uses of Pookie.

I liked Perg's Penguin idea.

When trolls were trolling he got us to post pix of cute penguins. That was fun for a while because I absolutely adore penguins and it blocked out so much thread noise.

I loved doing the penguin thing. My favorite moment was when Jazzmin or whatever her name was said "What's with all the penguins?" in the middle of some godawful train wreck of a thread.

My band played with a lot of the metal/rapcore bands before they all blew up. We weren't ready yet. Korn, Limp, Dredg, System, Trapt, Devil Driver. Yay for name dropping. All were cool except Dez from Devil Driver and Chris from Trapt. I had to get held back from punching that douche in the balls.

We hooked them up a good paying gig opening for us. It's customary for the opener to stay and support the headliner who hooked them up. The fucker came to me 5 minutes after he was done sucking and asked for his cash so he could get out.
