They are both bodybuilders, and have been learning martial arts since they were little kids. I bet they could probably kill that bear if they teamed together.
If they do that, then fight each other for the mating rights with Amber Heard! The rite of passage.

A guy up by Anchorage beat up a bear!
http://www.adn.com/bearattacks/story/484087.html
Eagle River man fights attacking bear to draw
"I definitely earned my bragging rights boxing a bear," said Rees, 18. "It got me a couple of times, and I got her a good couple of times. I wasn't going to give the bear an easy target."
"I was doing the best I could to stay up on my toes and move all around it," Rees said. "I figured my best chance was to fight the best I could, fight the hardest I could to get away."
The bear bit into his arms. Scratched his side. Dug into his thighs. Swatted his head. Rees was pumped with adrenaline, masking the pain of teeth and nails sinking into his flesh. He started yelling furiously. He threw elbows and punches into the bruin's head, kicked when he could.
"I don't think the bear's any worse for it, but it was probably surprised someone was fighting back," said Honeman, who tallied the brawl as a "tie."

One punch or kick from either of the Two men could instantly kill someone. But you know how men are nowadays, they have to prove themselves superior in a trial of violence, to earn the mating rights with the female.
Picture them punching or kicking through a pile of cinder blocks. Imagine that cinder block being your skull, or any other bone.

Yeah, I'd bet on the bear, too.
But it would be fun to watch.

If Amber Heard were in the audience cheering for them, that bear would get it's skull crushed in a spinning kick.

So it was a Bruin, and not a Grizzly? Some Grizzly bears can grow up to 1,000 pounds! Are Bruins and Grizzlies the same bear? Sorry, but I don't know my bears.
Was this 18 year old kid involved in any high school MMA fight clubs? Maybe he was trying to impress someone at his school, in hopes of scoring weed, sex, and alcohol.

It was a bear that startled the hell out of the kid in the dark and the kid did what he had to do. (I didn't post the whole article-you should read it) I don't know if it was a grizzly, but grizzly bears usually live inland. I wouldn't want to come face to face with any bear at night, near a creek where there's a healthy salmon run.
