Ghost Hunters Live Halloween Special
It's this or Night of the Living Dead which is fine one time but it's on all fucking night plus I have it on dvd.
You'd think there would be better programming on Halloween. Ghost Hunters I get and from what I understand they're one of the higher rated cable shows but nobody else is playing shit. Scary Movie sequels don't count.
Fucking pathetic.
I like the Ghost Hunter guys though. They're sorta cool in a grifter kind of way.

Hard to believe on Halloween night there's not a decent horror movie playing on any of the channels. At least I DVR'd Ghost Story the other day while I was at work, and can always fall back on watching that.

Watching Bram Stoker’s Dracula. I wish they would make a new one for 2010.

There hasn't been a good version of Dracula since Nosferatu. No reason to think one is gonna happen any time soon.
And no, Brownings version doesn't count. It's a good movie but it's not a good version of Dracula. Close but no cigar. Or stake if you will.
Coppolas version is ok but suffers from being over-produced. Dracula begs for a minimalist approach.

I did just pick up the sequel at the library. I expect it to suck but I guess you never know. Written by Stokers great grand nephew or some stupid shit like that. Like that makes a difference. Why do people think something like that matters? Being related to George Washington wouldn't mean you'd make a great president. Why would being related to Bram Stoker mean you'd write a good Dracula book?
People piss me off.

I treasure my copy of Nosferatu. They stick to the original recipe.
Dracula looks like an extraterrestrial corpse. He does not look
lovely or attractive.

Ah. Dracula The Undead. Let me know what you think of it.
I wish I had known about it before Halloween.

Did you read The Historian ( 2005 )American author Elizabeth Kostova?
It kept me entertained. But I had to laugh when I saw someone's quote,
about the book echoing the search for Osama Bin laden.

I disliked it. I found it overlong and anticlimatic. It had a few good moments but I got tired of waiting for something to happen and when it finally did it wasn't all that.
