Anything by Nox Arcana. They basic write one big ode to the supernatural. Check em out on Amazon. Spooky as. Also The Carmina Burana. That's some pretty spooky crap and there is an hilarious Goth singer called Voltaire who does some spooky comedy songs which are excellent. I particularly enjoy his 'Zombie Prostitute'.

You know what really freaks people out nowadays?
Religious music. The earlier the better.

I was going to recommend this:
http://www.amazon.com/Gregorian-Chan.../dp/B00000E4UH
But it costs $88 to $100 now. Used! On CD! I have it on LP - I wonder what that must be worth.

I love Carmina Burana. Horny monks!
If you ever have a chance to see a ballet or dance performance of Carmina Burana do not miss it. Totally erotic.

That music has pretty much been wrecked by overuse in ads and movie trailers.
...anything by serial composers like Berg, Schoenberg etc.
