Stewart slaughters Fox News
...and toward the end he takes a couple swipes at MSNBC and the White House as well.
How to create a story out of nothing and what fair and balanced doesn't mean:

He slaughters himself with his liberalism. Wonder why he doesn't have the balls to use his own name?

the problem with John is he is too smart...his humor goes over those he tends to pick on. They are just too easy for someone like him.

Oh, ffs, Vette. Take off the rightwing goggles for a few seconds and respond with something more than kneejerk partisanship.
Think this might have something to do with it?

I thought it was a pretty good skewering. Should be required viewing for anyone who buys their fair and balanced bullshit. It's also a good lesson in propaganda technique. They took a nothing story and inflated it into a scandal.
I agree it's pathetic that Stewart's staff does a better job than the msm.

No he doesn't.
And isn't it a bit disingenuous to chide someone for not using their own name when you yourself hide behind an alias?

The Daily Show research staff routinely catches politicians and pundits on both sides with their foot in their mouths. Just like this segment did with Cal Thomas likening the "war" on Fox with the cold war.. juxtaposed with his opinion when Bush did the exact same thing to MSNBC.

That's the thing I love about his show. All the "liberal" bashing directed his way is given the lie by such stuff.

Perhaps he should loan his vaunted research department to Obama so you will have something besides bullshit numbers and shaky economic claims to post.

Buck up.. it's not the first time FauxNews has been exposed as opinion and propaganda masquerading as news.
It won't be the last.

Amazing. Your propaganda mill gets torn to pieces and you immediately go on attack. Why not respond to the video?

When you can't defend, attack.
Stewart absolutely slaughtered FauxNews. There can be no doubt that they are exactly what they have been accused of being for years. Exactly what Dunn said.
The only person I've seen even remotely attempt to be a journalist is Shepard Smith.

He didn't bring it up, but those clips were an excellent example of how teh right takes control of the language of an issue quickly. What began as a general complaint about the event was boiled down to a really great, powerfully negative action verb: indoctrinate. So they use it over and over again, all day long, and by the next days their viewers are discussing how Obama is trying to indoctrinate children (we see them post at Lit) without fully knowing the whole story, or frankly without even understanding what they are typing.
Great clip, Stewart is awesome as always.

Why don't you ask yourself that dumb ass question? Why don't you go spend some time finger painting something on the wall in the bathroom.
