Vision of Escaflowne {{Recruiting and OOC}}
Any fans of the Anime want to play an Escaflowne thread? I'm looking to play either Van Fanel or Alan Schezar depending on interest and demand if someone wants one character I'd be willing to take the other. I'd like to find someone interested in playing a male or even permanently female Dilandau, Folken, maybe the Jaguar-girl twins (calling any cat-girl fans!) and of course Hitomi. *For the sake of decency all Characters have been magically aged to at least 18* If your not familiar with the series that's okay too! Original characters are cool too! Just post a bio here with some decent description and I'm sure it'll do fine. I'm open to good number of players but I don't want to overcrowd, I've never done a group RP. I would prefer to keep Emperor Dornkirk an NPC with minimal involvement other than being the evil menacing behind the scenes boss. I'd like to focus the thread on interaction with one another, epic battles, and hot bedroom/battleground/anywhere really sex scenes. Feel free to post your questions or comments here or PM me with any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
The Plot would pick up at the same point as the TV show, though we'll change some of the opening scenes a bit to get everyone involved as quickly as possible.

I was thinking a bit of a reboot. You know start from the beginning and work our way through the series with our own super sexy spin!
But a post Zaibach setting would be cool too. If we were to go with that it'd be easy enough to get her to come back to Gaea, BEAM OF LIGHT. Ka-Blam. Instant Hitomi! oops she was in the shower. If Gaea needed her powers again we could probably pull off bringing her back through a ritual or Destiny device like Dornkirks. I'm open to recommendations.

We need a couple more people before I post the IC thread but we now have Makisan as Merle. Once we have a villain or hero we'll be good to get the ball rolling!

Hey that's no problem at all. If you take a look at the Character list in the first post you shouldn't have any problem at all, or if you want to create an original character that would allow us to fill you in as the plot moves along.

Is it bad that I giggled at "fill you in" considering the format of the board? Going to read now and will post a thought shortly.
I liked the look of the twins, could I perhaps be one of that race, however, had a bump on the head and not much memory? That would cover up any flaws I had of not knowing who to bow and scrape to.

Sounds good, the twins pilot guymelef too. Are you interested in the fighting aspect at all or are you more into sidelining? I don't know if Makisan wants to a combatant but Merle is generally support for her friends instead of actual fighter where the twins are deadly.

Hmmm, well if you can pick a name and appearance I'm sure we can work out something. You would prefer to not know the main characters then? You mentioned amnesia. Something like a sleeper agent maybe?
We could alter the plot a little and she could replace Hitomi, that would remove the need to find someone to play her and the complication of the two worlds bit.
So here's my thought:
A Jaguar girl drugged to lose her memory (By Zaibach the bad guys) and tossed out into an enemy kingdom (Fanelia the main characters homeland) begins to work her way closer to the Van and Merle without knowing she is to be the one to kill him. While wandering lost and alone She ends up getting between Van and the Dragon he is fighting in the forest saving Van from a death blow she is taken into the castle and promised help to find her past. Merle (Makisan) doesn't like her or is suspicious of her true reason for being in Fanelia even though she doesn't actually know why.
Any thoughts? Anything to add or change up?

Works for me although to start an IC we better wait for Makisan's input. I'd like to start tomorrow. I'm definitely going to take the role of Van, and I'm also gonna take the Villains and make them NPC's so during the thread feel free to control them as needed. Any big questions or suggestions?
