Cool No Fawkin'Injun summer!

But, the cool wet has produced beautiful fall colors...

Having logged the oak a few years back has produced more maples and other colorful softwoods.

The mums are huge and the ladybugs are swarming everywhere.

This is global warming I can appreciate!

How glorious is your view?

You could at least quote some REO, watching the cold moon crossing the range...

The birds are still chirping here and the leaves are falling.

I haven't been able to look at a reference to REO without laughin in 30+ years, after a classmate referred to them as Red Speedwagon.

What is the record for the quickest hijack of a Cap'n thread?

Is that saying true?

I'm pretty decent with a hammer.

'Cept where Wibawwaws are concerned.

I wonder what they are. . .

There's just not enough bandwidth to comment on the whole st-st-stupid thing.

Have a good'un Cap.

I was gonna toss a walnut Pete's way, but he's gone, so I'll just leave it in the corner.

Oddly warm here. Mosquitoes should be dead by now. Global warming? Perhaps.

really warm today here but they're getting strong winds up north I hear - 70mph gusts and stuff. We get them in October generally, just depends on where you are whether or not you get slammed. Outside of the winds' paths it's still, heavy, incredibly humid. Some rain but not much.

Still loads of rich greens but the fiery displays of the staghorn and the virginia creeper take centre stage. The foxes are very active again, and every morning they've pooped and peed on the cat's bowls outside

Here too.
85 in the shade is not late October weather even for Florida.

I guess everything is going to be ok though since it's nice and cool at Frisco's house.

Well, use your basic math.

2 hots plus one cool averages out to hot.

global warming is true QED.
