road kill for breakfast, lunch and tea

plenty to go round

Ostrich run over on M56 motorway

A pair of ostriches went on the rampage after they escaped from a farm.
The birds, described by police as being over four foot tall, went on the run in Helsby, Frodsham, Cheshire.
One of the ostriches strayed onto the M56 and died after it veered into the path of an oncoming truck.

don't you just love the tone of this? like dangerous crims on a most wanted programme.

I'm only surprised they didn't get out the hounds and the 'copters
