My Brother the Prom Date (closed for no_morals)

Jessica sat outside the mall, crying her eyes out as she waited for her older brother to come pick her up. Her boyfriend, Michael Hunter, had just dumped her for Stacy Carbright of the cheerleaders in front of all her friends. If that wasn't bad enough, tonight was to be the senior prom and now she was to have no date.

Michael didn't even have the decency to still agree to take her to prom even though he had promised her at the beginning of the school year. And he waited until she had bought the rest of the accessories she needed before dumping her. After the break-up, she had calmly called her brother to come get her before turning and seemingly walking off though it had changed into a full run once she was out of sight of them.

Ryan had been on break from his classes. He was a good student at college and was a member of the football team, the only one with a 3.4 gpa. He had gotten a call from his little sister that her boyfriend had just dumped her for a cheerleader in front of her and her friends. What made it worse was that tonight was her senior prom and she had been so excited that she would call him daily about it. 'I can't just let her go alone, especially after she was looking forward to it so much. Hmm...I do have a few good looking suits and not many people would know who I was so...'

His thoughts were interrupted when he saw Jessica crying outside of the mall. He drove up to her and opened the door for her. "Come on, lets get you home." He gives her a smile.

Jessica tried to smile when she saw Ryan pull up and open the door. Especially as she got in the car, but she couldn't pull it off. Her smile soon dropped to a frown, that's how fake of a smile she had had where it couldn't even last five minutes. She just wanted to go home, drop on her bed and stay there crying. At this point, she didn't even want to go to prom....she didn't have a date after all

Ryan sighed as he saw his sister's depression. He had hoped she wouldn't be this bad but seeing her like this only served to make his decision easier. 'She beautiful in every way. I'd date if we weren't related...does that really matter though that we're siblings?' "Hey Jessica, will you go to the prom with me?" He asked with a smile that would make any woman wet.

Her eyes widened when she heard Ryan's question. He couldn't really be asking her that, could he? Jessica looked at him questioningly, searching his eyes for a sign it was a joke. Instead she found the same smile she'd seen him give other women when he asked them on a date so she knew he was serious. "Really? Why would you want to take your little sister to a dance that's bound to be full of kids my age?"

Ryan was confused. Did he really need to explain it to her? Could he do it without losing his sister? Would she look at him differently? "I like you." He said in a low voice. "It doesn't matter where I'm taking you as long as its you and me. I've thought you were beautiful for years but I didn't have anywhere else to live if you got made and told our parents." He had a slightly depressed look as he waited for her reaction.

Seeing her older brother looking so depressed almost broke her heart all over again. "If I would have told, I would have had to tell on myself as well. I always had a crush on you. Just never told you cause I always thought you wouldn't like me that way since I'm your little sister and all. Not to mention, why would you want to wait for a girl who won't put out? Michael sure didn't." She added the last part wryly

Ryan's smile came back to his face. She actually liked him. No yelling, no hitting, just a mutual affection between them. "Well then I guess it must run in the family since I don't "put out" either. Women say us guys are the perverts but you'd be suprised. And the fact that you don't "put out" only makes want to date you more since your just waiting till your ready and find the right guy. Michael was stupid if he left such a treasure like yourself just because he couldn't wait." He gives her a quick kiss on the lips and then blushes with a smile.

Jessica was surprised when he kissed her lips so tenderly, different from how Michael kissed her. She was soon blushing a bright red. "Thank you. I partly want to believe it was peer pressure from the football team that he couldn't wait but I know that would just be giving him an excuse."

Ryan could help but blush more from looking at her blush. "You are everything a guy could ever want. Your intelligent, have a sense of humor, you're cute, sexy, and beautiful, and you can actually think for yourself rather than letting others think for you. There is no excuse for dumping a treasure like you."

Jessica smiled. "Thanks Ry...you always did know what to say to cheer me up." She leaned back against the seat. "Let's get going, there's still so much to do in preparation. Which reminds me....do you have a suit?"

Ryan just grins. "In what color? I have quite a few." They get home and he sees that their parents were gone. 'Well thats not unusual. They always cared more about their business than they cared for us.' "So what else is there that we need to do, Jess?" Ryan didn't care what had to be done because he had a shot to date his sister and he wasn't going to ruin it.

"It'd be nice if it matched my dress." She shrugged. "Don't know about you. I have to do my hair and nails and of course shower. You went to your prom, didn't you? Some food would be good about now."

Ryan nodded. "I have a few colors. You might want to watch out mentioning taking a shower around guys since some will take it as an opportunity to try and join you...not that the thought didn't cross my mind as well but I wouldn't do something I knew you didn't want. As for the food, I know this beautiful italian restaurant that we could go to...unless you want to go with your friends." He sighed. "And no, I didn't go to my senior prom because I didn't have a date. I had offers but I have standards unlike some guys. I'm just amazed you said yes since I always considered you out of my league. Your perfect so how is it I got this chance with you?" He wondered out loud.

She thought about what he said. "I hadn't realized that but I'll definitely keep that in mind. The restaurant is fine. At least that way you're a secret until we get there. Plus, they're not my friends. They knew Michael had been seeing Stacy behind my back all along but they said nothing." she stretched. "I wasn't gonna go when you asked me. I'll admit, I thought you were doing it at first because you felt you had to, not because you wanted to and was going to say no. But then I saw that smiled and knew you wanted to do it. Anyway, let me go get ready." She headed off to start with her hair first

Ryan knew she would take a while since perfection seemed to be a habit of hers. He got out a few of his suits and saw a good match to her black dress and he was lucky that it was still clean. He had an easy enough time getting the reservations since he knew the owner for the last few years. He also washed and polished his favorite car and the ride for tonight. The rest would come in limos their parents rented but him and Jessica were going in his Lamborghini Diablo that he had bought last year. He was relaxing on the couch when she was done.

Jessica soon walked into the living room, her dress clinging to her curves, the top being a halter with straps that tied behind her neck. She wore a necklace and earring set that her brother had given her for her birthday, black heels and her hair was all curled up in small tight little spiral curls. "How do I look?"

Ryan was stunned. "Wow...you look absolutly beautiful. I thought it would be good if we went in my car rather than a limo. I also set up the reservations for an hour from now with plenty of time to get to the prom."

She nodded. "Makes sense. Saves money that way." Jessica blushed. "How far is the restaurant?"

Ryan was confused that she blushed. There wasn't any reason to, was there. 'She couldn't be thinking about... ' "Okay Jess, why are you blushing? Your thinking dirty thoughts, are you?" If he was wrong he could just tease her, but if he was right...he didn't know what to do.

He nods but remembers to tease her later. He may be her date but he was still her brother so it came with the territory. "Its not far from here, maybe 10 minutes tops and another 10 from where the prom will be. Oh, the car we came here in isn't the one we're taking. I have a special one that we're taking." Ryan kissed her on the lips and gave her a smile. "You seriously look beautiful. More so than any other I've seen."

"Thank you. I'm sure I'll be saying it many more times tonight but it really means a lot to me." She hugged him happily, breathing in the scent of his cologne, and the scent that was all him

He hugged her back but forgot about the 'big problem' she gave him when she hugged him. He blushed a deep red. "S-sorry..." He looked worried and bit his bottom lip. 'You stupid moron. How could you forget you were still hard from getting hugged by her and from how she looks. Now you've not only ruined the only chance with her but also she'll never be able trust me.'

Lucky for Ryan, she hadn't noticed as she pulled back, kissing him on the cheek. "We better go so we make the reservations."
