[Mayu]

The sound of screeching tires could be heard for two miles, it was silent all of a sudden. But in a matter of moments, the sound of a crash is heard all over the place. Snow began to surround the two cars, people came up to the site and called 911. Sirens cut through the silence like a knife through butter, groans were heard from the car that hit them. He had a cut on his face and thats it, he was taken away. Soon the sound of a child crying was heard, what seemed like eternity she was freed. The ten year old, wearing a pretty white dress now almost covered in blood, the ten year old screamed and it would echo in her mind always.

~~~9 Years Later~~~

The sound of people talking in Russian and she translated what they said to Sam. Her name is Bella Wolf, she is almost twenty and has known Sam Fisher for ten years. Sam was Bella's everything, he is the only family she has, he saw her grow up, she wanted to tell him her feelings, but there job came first. She was hacking into a computer, turning off the camera's and silence surrounded the whole room. They would be able to stay here for a couple of hours, she sighed some. Her brown eyes scanned the area, then back to Sam.

She had shoulder length dark brown hair that matched her brown eyes, her body average built but you could see how she keeps herself fit. She removed the black hood on her face and sighed a little. Removing her gloves she sat down on a chair in the room. When her gloves came off there was a ring on her finger, it was a gold band with a heart, engraved read "Together Forever" She had no idea he was in love with her, every time she looked at him and wanted to just kiss him, but didn't.

"Thank god we are almost done here" she softly said.

"Yeah, but we're not done yet."

Sam Fisher had always stressed he wanted to work alone. No distractions. No dead weights. Just him. It made things much simpler and easier. However, he couldn't deny that Bella was a great asset and aid to have on a mission. Still, in the back of his mind, lingered that voice telling him that she was too young to even be here in the first place. Well, she's here already he thought.

Sam had been somewhat a big brother to her. She had lost her parents and had no family left, though Sam didn't know why and nor did he ask. He had watched her grow and train and now here she was, on the field with him. There were times she would drop somewhat subtle hints that she wanted their relationship to be more... or maybe it was just him thinking it. Nevertheless, he was after all, much older than her and he was already comfortable with their current relationship status.

He checked his watch. It read 11:20 pm.

"How long are we still gonna be here?" he asked Bella. He unholstered his Five-seveN, releasing the magazine, checking it, then chucking it into the gun and holstering it back. He catiously looked around. He kept his senses sharp. In this job, you never know what can happen...

Bella sighed a little bit, she looked at Sam when he wasn't looking. It was true she loved him as a brother, but now at the age of nineteen she knows the love she has, had blossomed into loves between lovers. When he looked at his watch she heard what he said and nodded. She knew he didn't want to stop long, she slowly got to her knees and sighed a bit.

"We shall go now, just let me check something" She said, she reached in her bag and took out a small little computer and logged on it. Her eyes scanning the computer she came up with a few and sighed.

"Looks like we have another job to do" She turned the computer so Sam could see "Luke Wolf, from Russia is the new guy around here" She said simply and heard something in her ear piece. She put everything away.

"Yes sir" Bella looked at Sam and smiled.

"Job is never done is it Sam?" She grinned and stood up. She followed his lead, never got in the way, never stood out. She was as great as him, having a feeling.

"We better move, ive got a bad feeling and you know me. Feelings are always right" She nodded, following every move he made.

"What, the same feeling you got when we were over at Rome?" he asked sarcastically. They were in a room, much like this, when Bella said she had a bad feeling about taking the elevator down to their planned escape. Sam had argued that she had disabled the cameras so it would be best to take the elevator, but Bella insisted on her "feeling" and so they took the stairs... only to find out that the cameras in the stairwell hadn't been disconnected. It took about an hour for them to leave the building rather than their planned 3 minutes.

He smiled slyly. He headed to the balcony door and opened it, a gust of cold wind blowing in the room. He took the rapeller device attached to his belt and attached one end at the metal railing. He jumped over and looked at Bella.

"You coming?"

Bella looked at him "Smart ass" She laughed. He was different that was for sure. He was perfect and for that she loved him. There was a huge age difference but, she liked that. Watching him. Seeing him jump and sighed a bit. She did the same as he did. "There is only one thing I hate about this job and its jumping overing shit when we are very high off the ground. She jumped, which was a leap of faith since he was the one that tied the cord down. Once she was in front of him she sighed a bit. She freed herself and tugged on the cord as it fell. Nice little trick Sam taught her. Looking at him she smiled. And sighed a bit, she looked at her watch.

Bella was about to say something but she heard some people coming, it was all out of instinct and she pushed Sam into the dark with her. They were russian and they were on alert, she got down onto the ground seeing inside the window and saw men with guns. She noticed a little camera and reached into her pocket taking out the SC Pistol and opened up the window being careful. She pointed the gun and shot out the light and looked at him. "After you" She said grinning at him.

"Of course after me," he said, climbing into the window. He winked at her slyly. "We wouldn't what you would get us into."

He waited for Belle to climb inside and silently closed the window. He was glad they didn't have to spend so much time in the freezing cold outside since he wasn't wearing his specialized bodysuit. His ears were om high alert. Any guard could come in any second. He nodded so that the goggles strapped around his head would cover his eyes and with a flick of a switch turned on the night vision. Apparently they were in a large kitchen.

Suddenly the door swung open. Sam threw his goggles off his eyes at the sudden burst of light from the door. "Shit," he exclaimed quietly.

Two guards came in. They tried opening the lights but soon found out it was broken. Sam leaned back against the counter and looked to Belle. Signalling her, he told her to take out one guard. He listened and heard the footsteps of the other guard coming nearer.

He trusted Belle that by the time he attacks the guard, she would've done the same to the other. He took his knife from his sheath and in a split second got up, grabbed the guard's arms, put the knife at his throat, and covered his mouth. With a single blow to the neck, the guard was unconscious. Sam had a rule: never kill unless absolutely necessary... and if you draw your gun, you better use it.

She couldn't help but smile at him, he certainly acted like a kid a lot but she liked that about him, he wasn't a stuffy person. She got in behind him and ducked down, when she heard him say shit she knew it wasn't good. She stayed in the dark, when he signaled for her she nodded and staying in the dark she tackled the guy, a hand over his mouth and dragged him back. Hitting him in the head he was out cold. She saw he took care of the other guard. But she heard something and looked around her, seeing a pipe over there heads she smirked. She looked at Sam and nodded.

She used both of her legs, propping against each wall as she grabs the pipe, hanging by her legs and took care of the other guard, looking into his eyes and spoke in Russian.

"How many are in here" She said and when he told her what she wanted she knocked him out and swung around hitting the ground with a grace seen from her a lot.

Sam stayed in the dark as Bella hung by the pipe and disposed of the guard. He looked around. The radio of one guard started crackling. Their buddies wnated to know how they were.

Sam looked around, keeping his cool. "Looks like our original exit is blown," he said. "We gotta find another way out."

He looked around. "The van is across the street in an alley. We gotta get there fast or we'll be sitting ducks in here."

Sam's radio suddenly sprang to life in his ears and a deep voice said, "Sam, where are you?"

"Not right now, Lambert," he said. "I'm busy."

"What's your status?" asked Lambert.

"If you don't shut up, we'll be dead. How's that sound?" said Sam.

He spotted the dumbwaiter and signalled Bella. He got in, made room for Bella, then pressed the top floor.

Luckily, when they got out, the room was dark and there were no guards. Sam looked at the door, approached it carefully, took out his Snake Camera and slipped it inderneath the door.

"Not good," he muttered. A number of guards were frantically running around trying to find the intruders.

"They're on high alert," said Sam. "We gotta get to the roof and we're not getting there through here."

Sam eyed the window and sighed. "I guess the Spider-Man way is the way to go."

[Mayu]

She was side by side Sam and did as he told her, she was eighteen, young but she was brilliant as well. She sighed a bit "God I hate heights" She grumbled quietly, she grabbed a rope and opened up the window, she opened it and there was a balcony she stepped on. Hiding in the shadows she put a rope up, black rope that blended in in dark walls. She looked at him.

"This will help us, since I don't know about you...but I so need a break" She giggled but sighed showing a serious face, clipped herself to the wire and she managed to scale the walls, she wished she was spiderman, hell even super man.

"Heights are part of the job, Bella," Sam said as he got out to the balcony, clipped himself to the wire, and started scaling.

A few minutes later they were on the roof. Sam pointed across the street.

"We need to get there."

He eyed a wire that connected the building they were on to the other building. "Just our luck."

Sam clipped himself to the wire and was about to tell Bella to do the same when the door to the roof swung open and three guards appeared. In a blink of an eye, Sam had his Five-seveN in hand and shot two of them.

"No time, hang on to me!" he said to Bella

She was about to follow Sam when she heard the door then his gun, she didn't hesitate and she held onto him, she couldn't help she got her Adrenalin kick, she held onto him and held onto him but not enough that something bad happens. She sighed softly, unable to even think about a thing, she made sure her body was in the dark so they couldn't be noticed, unfortunately now...they knew they were there.

Sam and Bella slid down the rope, the sound of machien gun fire ringing behind them as the guard continued to fire bullets all around them. Sam held Bella tightly, not minding the guard. Once they landed on the roof, Sam raised his gun, fired once, and shot a hole throguh the guard's head.

"These guys do not know how to aim." He ran to the edge and looked down. "We're gonna take the fast way down again."

Fastening a wire on the edge of the building and clipping himself, Sam rapelled down the edge of the building and down to the alleyway where their van was waiting. Sam got in the back and said "You drive, Belle. Get us the hell outta here."

Bella moved with him and she rappelled with him, she didn't think anything about it, she was humming lowly and got into the van she got in, she removed her gloves and the material over her face. So she could blind in, she looked in the rear view mirror and stepped on it. Speeding down the ally and out into down town, she sighed a bit.

"they were pissed, I wonder why...well partly I know but still...something didn't seem right." she sighed, she wasn't able to see what she picked up, as she drove she managed to get something out of her pocket, a small recorder and tossed it to Sam. "Hope you don't mind doing a little reading...since im the one driving" She laughed.

Sam caught the recorder and groaned. "Damn, I let you drive so I can relax..."

He slipped it in his pocket. "Just get us to the safehouse. I'm hungry." With that, he lay back and closed his eyes.

A few minutes later, they arrived at a very old warehouse. Inside was a bunch of computers, a number of guns, armory, and gadgets, and two beds. There was a table and a few chairs too.

Sam placed the bag of food he bought along the way on the table and immediately started eating some Oreos.

"Missions like this always get the better of me," he said. He looked at Bella and smiled. "You did good today. Maybe someday you can be on your own."

[Mayu]

When they were at the warehouse she looked at him "Me solo? no thanks I like working with you, I like you, besides who else can piss you off like me" She laughed and grabbed something to eat, she looked at Jack, she sighed a bit. "Your something else you know" She laughed. "You have a lot of skill, how long have you been at this job?" She asked curious.

Sam chuckled.

"When you're in this job long enough, you don't keep count... you don't want to count."

He sighed.

"It seems like ages since I took on this job, you know? I've learned just to go with it."

He scoffed.

"And me pissing you off? C'mon, I know you love me."

[Mayu]

She laughed and then giggled, she relaxing herself down and wondered what all was going on kidding wise. But she had a huge crush on him. Question is what was going to happen to them. But with a sigh she was humming to herself "You know Sam ive always wondered what you think of you and im curious thats how I am" She grinned looking into his eyes, her arms crossed and leaned onto the wall.

Sam got off the bed then went toward Bella against the wall.

"On you know what I think of me," Sam said slyly. "Astonishingly good looking and simply irresistible!"

He laughed, smiling as he approached Bella.

"Question is, what do you think about me?"

[Mayu]

She looked into his eyes as he moved closer to her, but when he asked what she thought of him she didn't know how to say it. "Well...I think your a wonderful guy...and ive been in love with you for two years" She turned her face away and she looked outside, almost embarrassed to have said it.

"What?" was all he could say. He was being playful and teasing her like he always did, but she wasn't. She was serious and he knew this.

"Hey... Hey, Bella... look at me."

He gently turned her around to face him and raised her head by her chin so that she was looking at him.

"What do you mean.... you were in love with me? I thought... we were like siblings."

[Mayu]

She didn't know what to say it, looking into his eyes "I treasure our relationship, you as my older brother that would protect me..but there is one thing you cannot protect me from love." She looked into his eyes. "We have been with each other from my father being killed and your daughter. Sarah would be very happy and proud of you. As I am.." She smiled. "You give me strength Sam..and because of that I can say that I love you and its more then sibling love." She sighed softly. And walked over to her spot and slowly removed her gear, slowly she removed her weapons and her outfit she wore like him. She wore black jeans and a shirt that showed her stomach a little. Her hair in a braid.

When she was done, she turned back to face him, she placed her hands on his chest and smiled.

"Your arms are my castle, your heart is my sky.
They wipe away tears that I cry.
The good and the bad times, we've been through them all.
You make me rise when I fall...."

She whispered, wanting so badly to kiss him.

Sam looked at her but pulled away.

"I'm sorry, Bella," he said softly. "It's not supposed to be like this."

He turned away from her, silently looking out to the window. Yes, it was true that they had experienced many things together, but not once had he had feelings for her. He had always considered her a daughter somehow too... After losing Sarah, he had subconsciously made Bella her replacement.

He wanted to leave, but somehow he couldn't. He just stood there silently.

[Mayu]

She watched him pull away and go to the other side of the room. Tears started to fall as she began to cry. "Ive taken Sarah's place havent I?" she said, her voice shaky, she was rejected. "forget I said anything then" she ran out of the room to her room, sitting on a window seat, looking out, seeing a storm coming, as the rain hit her window, her tears ran like the rain slide down the window. She was so upset she thrusted her hand into her mirror and the sound of the mirror breaking could be heard all through the place, her hand cut up and bleeding.

Hearing the glass, Sam ran to Bella's room, flung the door open, and saw her crying on the bed, her hands bleeding to the floor.

"Damn it, Bella," he exclaimed, running out fo the room, getting a twoel, bandages, and some alcohol before returning to Bella and tending to her hands. He soaked the towel with alcohol and gently caressed her hand with it.

"You don't go around smashing windows when shit happens," Sam said as he wiped her wounds. He sighed and looked at her.

"What do you want from me? Love?" He continued wiping her hands. "That was something I lost when Sarah died."

[Mayu]

She winced a little but not much, she sighed as he bandaged up her hands. "Sam im not telling you to do anything, but you love me I know you do. Your afraid to get hurt, and I could never take Sarah's place. What would you think Sarah would say if you didn't love?, I see what others don't. You fight for her every day and no one can take that away" She sighed, she placed her hand on his. Looking into his eyes.

"it's all right...to close your eyes now..." She stroked his cheek. She looked down for a moment. She saw a picture of Sarah and she looked at it, it was the three of them having fun. She had tears in her eyes. She felt his pain she lost a part of herself. Her fingers traced her.

"Go to the other side, go to the other side, cast a boat take a ride, cross the rift..to the other, further and further to the other side...it must sail baring your tattoos and our offering of tears.." She said slowly. She was on the mission with Sarah she got there to late, she could see her dead.

She failed Sam, she looked up into his eyes

"You are always with me no matter what. You give me so much...because you were...with me...because you were always with me, thats how I Survive."
