The cruiseship stood proudly in the harbour, waiting patiently for its passengers. As he unloaded my bags from the cab, Adrian took a moment to take in a breath of the atmosphere building on the docks.

He had won this trip on a local radio competition. At first, he wasn't sure whether he should go. Being a very successful stockbroker left him very little time to relax and enjoy life. But when he landed the Jefferson deal last week, he was told to take a holiday. It couldn't have come at a better time.

Inside, the crusie ship was even more beautiful. The carpeted hallways were soft under each step, the crystal clear windows giving amazing views in each direction. His cabin had everything, including his own private deck with jacuzzi.

He collapsed on the bed, smiling to himself.

Then again, he would be smiling a lot more once we returned......

Jennifer explored the cabin she had for the trip. She had gotten the ticket from her boss who had been unable to go because of a business meeting he had to make. He had given it to her because she was such a hard worker even if she was only the secretary.

The cabin was everything she expected and more, even packed with a luxury mini fridge, jacuzzi and deck. Out on the main deck was a pool for all the passengers to mingle at. She opened her suitcase and pulled out her bikini before changing into it. She grabbed her towel and headed out to the pool.

This was going to be one vacation she'd never forget....

Adrian was a keen photgrapher, so he had brought his camera along. He felt so calm when taking photos, of anything. But beacause of his busy life lately, he hadn't a chance to take any. This holiday was going to be about doing stuff he hasn't done in quite a while, including relax.

He changed into his swimming trunk, pulling a t-shirt and flip flops. Camera in hand, he went out onto the main deck to get a few phots of the harbour as the ship left.

Jennifer sat on one of the lounge chairs, putting on sunscreen when she looked up and saw Adrian nearing the main deck. He sure is cute. She thought with a grin.

Her life in the office made it hard for her to have a social life. Including dating and flings. Even if she never saw the man again, she'd figure why not enjoy the time and flirt. If she was lucky, it might be a fling or it might be more. But for now, she'd go ahead and swim. She set her towel down, took off her flip flops and went to jump in the pool

Adrian reached the top just as the ship was pulling away. He took a quick shapshot of home. He wouldn't see it for a month. He then started to wheel his camera around the rest of the deck. He took a few shots of his fellow passengers, old and young. He began to notice it was mainly couples on board. He wondered were there any single ladies on board.

'That answers your question', he thought to himself, as he saw a stunning girl sitting by herself on one of the deckchairs. He watched as she got up, lost her flip flops and walked towards the pool. Just as she dived in, Adrian snapped a shot of her. He surveyed the result.

Amazing.

Jennifer hadn't even noticed that a picture had been snapped as she dived in. She swam a couple of underwater laps before she finally came up for air, throwing her hair back as she did so.

She took another glance at the man, attempting to get a glance at his features. Wanting to memorize it for later.

Adrian snapped a few shots of the harbour, before turning his attention back to the woman in the pool. She was simply amazing. As she came up for air, she snapped another one. He quickly retired to the poolside bar. Adrian had learned some time ago not all people were happy subjects. Today, he tries to be more discreet. He ordered a pint of favourite beer. He savoured the first gulp immensely.

Jennifer watched him walk over to the bar. So he wasn't going to make the first move, huh? She swam over to the edge and pushed herself up and out of the pool before going to her towel and wrapping it around her.

Once the towel was set in place, still revealing some of the cleavage her bikini allowed, she walked over to the bar and ordered a margarita

Adrian now had his sunglasses on. He observed the woman from behind the tinted glass. She was in great shape. Her bikini gave a good amount of cleavage, but not too much to be slutty, some Adrian hated with women. When he heard her order, he told the barman he'd pay for it. Looking over, he tipped his glass in her direction.

She looked over at him with a grateful smile. "Thank you." She turned back around as the bartender brought over her drink. She sipped on it before glancing at him again out the corner of her eye. "Go on cruises like this often?"

Adrian smiled,

"I wish. No I actually won this on the radio. My job doesn't exactly allow me to take holidays. I'm a stockbrokers, so long hours are in the job description. How about you?

Jennifer shook her head.

"My boss gave me his ticket when an important meeting came up as a way to reward his hard working secretary." she chuckled softly. "I usually work as late as he does, which is often pretty late."

Adrian got up and sat next to this beauty, surveying her amazing body from behind his sunglasses.

"A toast then, to hard working people who NEED a holiday".

Jennifer raised her glass with a giggle.

"A much needed toast to hard working people who need a vacation."

Adrian took off his sunglasses, wanting to look into her eyes.

"Just one question. How does a lady of your beauty manage to come on a cruise alone?"

Her eyes were a beautiful baby blue as clear as the blue sky above them. "Well, as I said, I end up working late usually with my boss. Hours like that don't leave room for a social life, especially dating. What about you? Why isn't there a woman ready to beat me away with a stick?"

Adrian laughed,

"Same question, same answer. It's been quite a while for me", suddenly wondering why he shared that information with a complete stranger.

She laughed. "We're probably the only single people on the whole cruise." She gestured back over to the pool area that was still full of couples cuddling together. Some even playing games together in the pool.

Adrian smiled,

"I'm guessing I'm going to be seeing a lot of you on this trip then."

Not that he minded!

She nodded with a smile.

"Same to you as well."

Adrian didn't know what made ask this. He didn't normally.

"Would you by any chance like to have dinner with me tonight?"

[blakkatt07]

Her smile lit up. "Thank you. I'd be glad to. It'd be better than eating alone or feeling like a third wheel to a strange couple."

Adrian smiled,

"Great. So I'll see you back here, say at 7?"

"That's fine. I'll wear one of my best dresses." She finished her drink before standing and starting to head back to her cabin. Jennifer stopped long enough to kiss his cheek with a wink before continuing on her way.

Once back in her cabin, she headed for the shower.

Adrian smiled as she kissed his cheek. He stayed to finish his drink, then headed back to his cabin. He took a long shower, allowing his muscles to relax. He got out, dried himself and pulled a fresh pair of boxers. He stepped out onto his private deck and leaned against the railing.

'Nice start to this holiday', he thought to himself.
