He sat at the bar, drinking down some Balgrin liver juice and eating a small bowl of writhing worms. Kilias was a former admiral for the Daroc navy, stripped of his rank and exiled to this small outpost, near the edge of known space. His dusky brown scales were buffed and polished with care. Pirates, mercenaries, and other less than reputable sorts came by the outpost for fuel and supplies, and had he still been in the military, he would have gladly had them apprehended or killed. He yawned and stretched a little, running his claws down his snout and then rubbing his yellow eyes. He didn't have much of a career in reputable space anymore, but he was making a decent living through selling weapons and information to the various thugs, smugglers, and bounty hunters who needed it.

His head was only slightly buzzing, which meant that he needed more drinks to get smashed. Kilias thought that maybe soon his liver would fail and it'd kill him, if not for the fact that his liver had been replaced with a cybernetic one years ago. With a smile he raised his glass to a couple of acquaintances down the bar when he felt a presence near him. "So, what is it you're looking for? Weapons, armor, information? Just ask and old Kil here will see what he can do." He said with a smile, flashing his razor fangs to the newcomer.

She'd seen the strange alien creature the instant she entered the bar, and the description matched the intel she'd gathered. He was certainly ferocious looking, and judging by the rate at which he was throwing down the drinks, quite thirsty as well.

Kira took a deep breath. She knew she was taking a chance contacting Kilias like this; humans were a rarity these days and that meant she stood out in public areas. She'd actually embraced that fact, and rather than trying to blend in, she'd opted for an eye catching hot pink color for her hair, cut in a bob style with long black streaks hanging down over her cheeks from either temple. Her makeup and clothing completed the space-punk look; tight and shiny faux-leather corset and pants, dark mascara, and bright pink lipstick to match her hair. She looked more like a prostitute than an assassin this way, and that was fine with her.

Kilias would have the weapons she needed to do the job, but she needed to tread carefully. He might know her, or know her reputation, and she wasn't sure what his opinion of hired killers was.

"Weapons, actually," she said in reply to him as he turned to face her. She took a seat at the bar. "A girl can't be too protected these days."

He nodded, looking the human over. They had such terrible taste in fashion, or she was one of the new brothel girls. Either way, if she had the money he had the supplies. Kilias downed his last drink and hissed something at the bartender before sitting up and cracking his back. "Ngh, weapons, all right I got weapons. Follow me." He said, walking out of the bar and down the the main cargo hold, his thick tail flicking. His loose fitting flight suit could hide any number of weapons from any would-be killers.

He stopped off in front of the cargo bay and tapped the code into the panel, the door hissing as it slid open. The Daroc motioned for Kira to continue following him. Inside the cargo bay, on the right side, was a mass of neatly stacked titanium-steel boxed. Kilias gave a little hiss as he walked over to them.

"So, what do you need? Pistols, rifles, ship grade weaponry? I have many things, and if you need something I don't have I'll try to get some in for you." He placed his hand on a biometric scanner on the side of a box and part of it opened up. With a smile he grabbed a military grade plasma rifle, a bulky, heavy device. "This beauty can vaporize through all but the toughest infantry armor. It's a little heavy though, and it gets hot pretty fast."

Kira made an appreciative "oooh" sound at the sight of the large plasma rifle, then bit her lip and shook her head. "That type of weaponry would probably break my back or both my arms if I tried to use it. I'm more of a fast-on-her-feet kind of girl. To be honest, well, I was kind of hoping that you'd have a pair of slicer pistols." She narrowed her eyes, knowing that the weapons were illegal in most parts of the universe, this place included. A slicer pistol used a constant sustained laser beam that, unlike pulse lasers, continued to burn and cut at a range of up to a hundred feet. In skilled hands, the deadly weapons could function almost like swords, cutting dozens of targets down with a single swipe.

"Mmm, slicers are very expensive, and very illegal. I could get one to you for say... three hundred thousand credits." He said with a smile, putting the rifle back. "It is very pricey, but considering the cost of manufacturing, transportation, and all the legal issues you must avoid, I think it's a good price. Or, if you like, I have a multifrequency laser! It has several different settings so you can shoot and it won't be detected by typical thermal sensors. It's modes include thermal, visual, UV, and X-Ray, and it's just as lethal in all of them. I can sell you that for the same as the slicer, but I already have a couple here so you can be on your way."

Kira thought it over for a moment. The multifrequency laser certainly sounded good, and she wished she could afford both it and a slicer... but those were steep prices. Although not that much higher than she expected she'd need to pay in the first place.

"Tempting, but I really had my heart set on the slicer. How long would it be before one was available?" She asked, then a thought occurred to her. "Of course... depending on where you were going to pick one up, I could always come along on the trip. A businessman like yourself in the trade you're in can always use a little extra muscle out in space, hmm?"

He rubbed his chin in thought then gave a shrug. "Well, let me just check my list of suppliers. I'll talk with them all and see what I can do for you. I say, give me about a couple days to get everything figured out. Just stay on station and I'll give you the details once a deal is settled. I might need to buy a couple boxes of ammunition anyways, I haven't checked."

Kilias smiled at the human. "But if you're willing to come along as protection, I might cut the price down by a few creds and toss in some free ammo. As a businessman, I have to look out for my potential friends, lest they wind up trying to kill me."

"Hmmm," she mused, then shrugged with a radiant smile. "Yeah, count me on on helping out with protection. I've got nothing else going on right now, and can always use some more friends with contacts. And what better way to make friends then to help them fight of pirates, hmm? So, when do we leave?"

He laughed at her last sentence and shook his head. "Like I said, in two days. I can just contact them without having to compromise their current location to authorities or pirates. It's important to be smart in this business after all. But, if you really don't have anything to do until then I'm sure I can find work for you here."

Kilias rubbed his chin softly. "Really there's only three things on this ship, booze, whores, and me. The bar is usually quite full of pirates and bounty hunters wasting their hard earned money on booze, so Jarr could use you for a bouncer or bartender. I would also suggest going to the Madame, but I don't think you'd be into what she runs. And of course, we have some business right now that'll be done soon enough."

Kira thought about the offers... and truth be told, making a little bit of extra money even before they set out for the main mission was attractive. You could never have too much money, after all... especially in her line of work.

"Those sound like pretty decent jobs. What's the pay like for them? And don't count me out of whatever it is the Madame runs... if the money's good enough, who am I to turn down a job opportunity? What kind of stuff does she run?" she asked with wicked smile.

With a light snort, he grinned at her. "Like I said, the bar has the booze, I have the weapons, so the Madame has the whores. You're a little more exotic than what everyone here is used to, so you might have a few buyers already. Everyone who stays here for more than a week goes to check out her wares, and she does have nice selection."

He started to close up his boxes and secure them. "Now, you go do what you have to do, I have to start calling in my suppliers for your slicer." He walked off toward the exit. "I'll call you when I got a supplier who deals with them."

Kira pursed her lips in thought. She was curious now... just how much money COULD she rake in by whoring herself out. For that matter... she had some money already. Maybe she could do the buying from the Madame, if one of her wares caught her eye.

"Sounds good," she called out to him as he left. "Just let me know when it's time to go. I'll be around."

With that, she set off to find this Madame, unsure if she was going to be doing some shopping or a job interview.

The station was quite large to house the number of people it does, but everyone knew where everything was, and the occasional map on the wall helped direct Kira toward the center of the station.

The brothel was in the massive cylinder of what used to house the centrifuge for artificial gravity. It was not a large place, but for the amount of patrons on board it was sufficient. In the main foyer was a motherly looking Caine, a wolf-like alien, wearing a slightly modest outfit that did little to hide her womanly shape. Her graying fur was well groomed and she looked up at Kira and smiled.

"Hello there hun, you looking for a good time? The Madame has a little something for everyone. Or perhaps you're looking to join my little family?"

Kira smiled as the Madame introduced herself, then stepped up to greet her. "I was recommended to you by Kilias, Madame... but he didn't say much about what kinds of services you provide." She giggled. "I guess, what I'm saying, is that I'd like to see the menu!"

She bit her lip a little nervously, then added, "And also... what would 'joining your family' entail? What kinds of things would you have me doing... and how much would I be paid?"

She smiled and gave a hearty laugh, patting Kira's shoulder. "Oh, Kilias is a fine man, when he's not dealing in death that is. As for my wares, well, I have all kinds of females from all over this corner of the galaxy! We also have a few males for the clients that swing that way." The older woman led Kira out of the foyer and into another room.

The new room was smaller than the foyer, with a seat in the center. "You just sit right there and I'll get a few of my employees for you to look over. As for working for me, we have all kinds of services that we supply. Sometimes plain vanilla sex, some of the more kinkier stuff, and sometimes we let our customers get more romantic and less hardcore with the staff."

As she waited for the Madame to return with her employees, Kira took a quick moment to make sure she was ready for the inspection. She was intrigued by the prospect of working here, and it'd certainly be better, she decided, to get paid for sex rather than to pay FOR sex. She chewed nervously on her lower lip as she waited for the interview to begin.

She returned shortly with a handful of different aliens, each wearing very teasing outfits. A very feminine Avir with well preened feathers, each like it came from the rainbow, and deep violet eyes. Next to the Avir was a slender Caine male with a more unkempt look. The last of them was a very squat and bulbous Phib of unknown gender thanks to the lack of sexual dimorphism with their frog-like kind.

The Madame smiled as she sat down in front of Kira. "These are my best employees. Been with me for a few years now. You can pay to have some fun with them, or you can join our family and have them initiate you, one at a time."

Kira's eyes moved from one alien form to the other. Each of them, for all their differences in shape and form, had features she found either attractive or deeply intriguing.

"I think..." she said, then paused before continuing, as if only then making her final decision. "I think I'd like to join the family. What would these initiations entail?"

"Oh, you just have to impress each of them and they'll tell me whether or not you're suitable to work here. Of course, all final decisions are mine, but impressing them goes a long way."

The Avir stepped up first, her cheeks and eyes showing a smile but her beak unable to make the expression. "I haven't been with another woman in a while, not good to get rusty." She trilled softly. "I'm Gret, a pleasure, human."

"Well... hopefully only the first pleasure, Gert," she said as she stood. "My name's Kira." She glanced around the room, hesitating. "Ummm... should we move to a more comfortable location? Or is that part of the interview... peer review? I'm cool with either, of course..."

The Avir did her best for a grin and looked over to the others. With a snort the Caine stayed in his seat while the Phib croaked, its air sac expanding then deflating.

"Peer review sounds good to me." Gret trilled softly, letting her robe slide slightly down her shoulders, her chest completely flat. "Have you ever been with an Avir, hun?" She asked with a chirp.

"No, I haven't," she said, "But I'm always into trying new things." She stepped up next to the avir, breathing in the avian's strange scent as she reached up to trace a finger across the top of the woman's feathered left shoulder. "Have you ever been with a human?" she asked, teasingly.

Gret let out another chirp and shook her head. "No, but I'm always interested in new things myself." The Avir pulled down her robe the rest of the way, her body completely covered in soft feathers, her thighs very large and not a hint of anything between her legs, except more feathers. "We Avir are a little different from others, as you can see."

"Hmmm..." Kira said as she looked Gert up and down. She wasn't quite sure how to proceed. "Well... we humans tend to have a bit more bumps and holes on our bodies," she said, then slid off her pants and stepped out of them. Standing in a trim black pair of panties as she began to undo the zippers and clasps of her corset, she said, "Bumps and holes help us to focus on where our partners want the most attention, I guess..." Her corset came loose and her large tits, each crowned by a dark red nipple pierced with a silver ring, came into view.

She used her finger-like appendages to spread the feathers along her crotch, showing off a damp hole. "Only one hole, but a lot can still be done with what I have."
