Pain didn't mean very much. Not anymore. Not with the hundreds and thousands of ways to describe how one could cut the flesh, break a bone and pinch nerves to kill. It was the cries of pain that would drive someone mad. Aleia found herself in that predicament now. In her own tiny cell there was no peace. Only the cries for help and mercy as the guards took their anguish out on the 'Slaves'. The sound of whipping was heard. Cracking above the cries. It panged her and yet Aleia couldn't do anything to help them. No one, save one person knew she was alive and he had sold her out.

I shouldn't have trusted him


More cries emmited as one ended in a gurgle. Knowing one had just died they would more then lily keep the corpse to feed whatever beasts they had towards their destination . Aleia sighed. Anger wouldn't do herself any good here. The slavers wanted them to be upset so they could punish them. She had learned that once already when she tried to interfere with them beating on an older women. Rolling her right shoulder it stung from where the lash of the whip had combed her flesh. The wound wasn't deep, but it hurt like hell. The ships doctor had intervened at that point. Explaing to them that if they maul all the prisoners they won't get much for them. He then tended to her and gave her something to take the pain away as well as make her relax to stay out of trouble.

She thought, leaning against the cage and tried not to see the shriveled hand that lay limp on the outside of the other cage. The body would stink soon, but it would only add to the foulness that clung to the air. She could handle it. Her plan to get on the ship was sound. All she had to do was get near the slavers and when they saw she was alone they had taken her.Eyes glancing down she ran a hand over the brown boots that were once shiny and new.The rest of her clothign was torn and nothign but filthy rags that were overlarge on her.

"Look at this.. Another rat!" Aleia looked up to see one of the guards staring at her. His eyes hungry with that of a killer. Aleia made sure to play the part and not seem like she had any real backbone after the first attempt. The guard noticed her shoulder first and then moved his eyes up to the scare on her face.

"What did you do to get that?" He sneered. Aleia didn't answer for a moment and when he snapped the whip down to the floor she jumped.


"I.s-s-stealing.." She stammered and blinked back fake tears.

"I thought so.. A wench like yourself is no good for anything.. But maybe.. your body is still just as good.."


Oh god... no!

Her eyes opened wide as the fear leaked out. She had done her best to hide her form under torn old rags. But it seemed even with ehr scar that it didn't matter to the men here.


"Salf.. Leave her alone. .Ya know what the boss 'ell do if ya touch 'nother one." Came the call of another males voice. Aleia looked up and watched as a tall middle aged man walked through and gave her captors a stern look.

"What will he know? She won't talk.."

"He'll know if she swells with child..."

They argued some more before he beat her cage and walked off. Aleia breathed a sigh of relief and wished she could do something about them.
She hide her other feelings of disgust and somehow she knew that she would see that man again. The realization made her stomach twist as the ship soon docked.. The metal clanged and she knew they would soon be arriving and taken to the docks; and her only chance at finding a way out would soon be tested.

The Warden greeted Lord Lee Magnus with a bow. "Lord Magnus, to what do we owe this suprise?" He asked the elegantly dressed Lord.

Lee was here for one reason, and one reason only. He needed a new house servant to attend to his personal needs. He stepped into the pathetic excuse for a jail, a dirty place were small time crooks were often left to rot.

This jailhoused mostof the female prisoners and often nobles like Lord Magnus took girls home as slaves and servants.

Lee Magnus wanted a woman he could use. "I'm here to take a look at the stock. I'm in need of a new female assistant as my last one has been stricken with a horrible bout of.....pregnancy."

The dirty little man that served as the Warden nodded. "PLease come back and see what I've got for you."

There were some shouts and then silence from the prisoners. Aleia didn't shrink back into her cage like others had. The tapping sounds of boots were heard among the few ratteling chains.

"What about this one? She's pretty yes?"

Aleia knew that it was the Warden who was speaking. Blinking back her emerald eyes, she tried to strain and see who was comming among the filth and rank to look at them. Yet she couldn't see anyone yet. Maybe if she pressed her head closer...

WACK!


Pain lanced against her right cheek from the crack of the whip. Aleia hissed in pain and looked to see on of her "keepers" smiling.

"Sit back. Ye don' need ter see nothin."


He hissed and all Aleia could do was scowl as she placed a hand to her cheek and felt the line of blood seeping through. It was then that she heard the footsteps comming closer to her part of the ship.

"HEY!" Lord Magnus snapped, and walked up to the keeper who for no reason whipped one of the prisoners. "Why are you whipping a prisoner for no reason?" He demaned.

He glanced into the cell and saw a beautiful but dirty young woman, who was now bleeding out of a cut on her temple.

The guard flushed, "It's my job sir. If you aren't cruel this maggots will eat you alive."

Magnus turned toward the woman, and glanced in the cage. "She does look like a battle hardened beast. Better be careful soldier or she'll tear the bars out and bash your skull in."

Magnus stepped closer to the bars and peered at the woman closer. She would serve his purpses just fine, she seemed to have nice breasts and strong hips. "What did you do to get in here young lady?" He asked her.

"My Lord she.."

"I did not ask you, Soldier. You best learn to keep you rmouth shut or you'll find the taste of the latrines in your throat for the next three moon cycles."

A sly smile started to form on her lips as the apparent buyer told the slaver to back away. Yet, it caught her off guard when the other mentioned ' My Lord'. She looked straight into the man's eyes and gave him a cool stare. Part of her wanted to not answer him, and another did.

"For being myself..." Aleia started to say when the Warden stepped up.

"You Insolenct girl! Do you know who this is?"

"Someone who obviously scares you enough?" She snapped back and that was when the man snapped. Aleia could swear she saw a vein throb against his neck.

"Someone needs to teach you a lesson." He drew out his beating stick and looked to the 'Lord'. "I'm sorry, but she obviously needs to be trained..."

"Then I will be the one to train her." Magnus said with a grin. "Put your stick away Warden or I will make you eat it."

He turned to guard and motioned to the door. "Open it and remove her chains, she coming with me."

The guard looked skeptical, but the Warden nodded and the cell door was opened. The guard went in and unhook the chains from the girl. She shoved at him which made MAgnus smirk.

He stepped in and stood before the woman. "From here on out you are mine. If you do as I demand, your life can be smooth. If you fight me, I can make you wish for death." His eyes began to glow a dark red as if in warning.

He held out his hand as the glow from his eyes faded away. "Take my hand if this is acceptable. If not I can always let the Warden use that stick of his." He raised an eyebrow as if to inply that he wasn't refering to the stick in his hand.

There was little choice to what she had to do. Obviously, if she stayed, things would be worse for her. Even more now that she had clarly embarressed the Warden. Aleia, gave her new ' Owner' a defying look as if to say he wouldn't be able to train her. Yet, she took his hand and left the cage.

"You gotta be mad!" Cried out the jailer. WHo was then silenced by the warden with a crack to the back of the mans head.

"I'm sorry about that. He has a touch of the fever.."


Aleia smirked, but didn't say anything as the other man hadn't let go of her hand.

Out on the docks Lord Magnus stopped her and stepped in front of her. "First off, I need to know your name because calling out 'Hey Girl' gets old very quickly." He told her.

The sky was begining to darken as the sun dipped beneath the horizon. Behind him a carrage pulled around stopping nearby. A servant moved to the side of the carrage and opened the door for them.

"Actually before I forget I have a special treat for you. Wanna see a trick?" He took her hand and pulled it out in front of her. "Watch," he held his hand over her wrist. Suddenly her skin began to glow and a red glowing ring appeared out of nowhere bound to her flesh.

"Pretty neat huh?" He said with a grin. "This is a binding ring, it tells the people in town you belong to me, and it also serves as a way for me to punish you. Let's just say you don't want to experience what that's like, anyway I interupted you, what did you say your name was?"

Biting her lower lip, Aleia kept silent. She knew what a binding ring was. Her family used them for their own servents, but they wern't as beautifull as this one. She blushed gently and looked up to him. Her eyes softened only a tad as she gave a sigh. Better to play stupid, she didn't want anyone to know who she was. Even if it ment this life.

"Aleia."

A simple answer as she looked to the ring. Her body still, looked so pal in comparison to the ring that she almost felt ashamed. She felt eyes on her then and knew other men were staring at her.

He smiled. "Well Aliea, let's get you back to my mansion and get you cleaned up. You can't possibly feel good, after being in that nasty cell."

He gently led her to the carrage and helped her get inside. The servant closed the door and they were off. The cushions in the carrage were bright red and wonderfully soft, a huge difference from any prison. He smiled as she tried not to show the lookon her face of her enjoyment of such a nice place to sit.

"I supose you'll want to know what it is you'll be doing for me. Before I tell you your responsabilities, why don't you tell me what you think I want from you. I like your voice, it reminds me of someone." He gestured to her, "So speak."

After the weeks of being on a hard metal floor, this was much more to her liking. Of course she didn't voice it and yet the eyes were a dead give- away. Even if her soiled and dirty rags were tainting the lush fabric.

' Duties.. Don't make me laugh..'

Aleia thought to herself as she crossed her arms over her chest. The crude bandage to her shoulder more visible then before. What he couldn't also see beyond the dirt were the mass brusies to her arms and legs that were given to her on her "trip" to this place.

"Well, I would assume cleaning and anything else that fancied you..." The young women paused as she didn't recall what to call him. Master was definatly out as she rubbed the ring absentmindly. "I also can sing."

He nodded, and leaned forward to pluck at the rags that served as clothing. He picked a scab of dirt off her chin and gave it a disgusted look. "Well, first things first. You are going to take a long hot bath. Then put on one of the many Concubine's dresses that I have."

He looked her over again, she seemed to have a very attractive body, although most was hidden by the potato sack that served at her clothing. Her breasts were not overly large and firm, the way he liked them. He could only guess about her ass.

He smiled at the look she gave him. "Judging by the way you're staring at me, I'm assuming you know what Concubine means. As such you'll already know what your duties are going to be like." He raised an eyebrow, "Am I right?"

She knew all about what he ment! Her eyes gave a warning glow as she stiffened against the seat. Aleia had her own perogative and letting this man have her virtue was on the very low end of the totompole.

"Yes."


A simple answer as she avoided looking at him then. Instead, she looked out the window to watch the city vanish and vast green feilds and trees coverd her view. By far it was much more intresting to see nature, then to the occupent near her. The fact he had many concubines, disgusted her.

He narrowed his eyes, "You don't approve?" He asked.

"I am a busy man, but I also have needs. I will need your services almost every evening and some mornings. If you refuse the task we can always take you back to the ship." He leaned back in the seat. "I am an honest man. I liketo have only one woman in my bed, that is until she is to heavy with child to be able to serve me. Or until she displeases me...in which case my male labors get to have her as a thank you for all thehard work." He laughed, "the woman displease me more often than get pregnant."

He sat forward in his seat and grabbed her chin so she would look at him. "You have a fire in you. I see it, and I want you to turn that fire into sexual passion." He hissed. "For if your passion burns as bright as I hope, then you shall never have to hang from chains in my wine cellar."

His grip was gentle, yet firm as she was forced to look into his eyes. Part of her wanted to spit into his face and be done with it. The carriage itself jumped and shook as it hit rougher roads. Learching her towards him before she could stop herself.

"If your own self wasn't as conseited, you might not have to pay for your enjoyment."

Aleia hissed back, but didn't move. The man seemed an arrogant ass as they come. It was one of the many reasons she had fled her own home. She was stubborn and strong willed. Something her father hated even more was that she knew as much as a man. Reading, writing, and some politics. yet, she rarley used it unless it was to gain one over the old man. It was also a help to why she never was married off and still held her own virtue.

He laughed at her, right in her face. "My dear, I didn't pay for you. This is my land, I get what I want when I want and how I want it." He tapped the ring on her wrist.

"I am going to hear you scream one way or another. I give you the choice to make those screams of pleasure," The ring began to send pinching pulses though her body and he narrowed his eyes, "or of pain." The zap of pain was sharp intense butvery brief.

He let her chin go and sat back in his seat, looking out the window he could see the estate coming up and he smiled again.

"Hey we're almost there. I bet you can't wait for a bath." He said. He seemed like a simle man, as if his mood could change with the drop of a hat. It signaled the potential for a dangerous change in mood with no warning.

The pain was intense enough that her face contorted. Aleia didn't let out a sound though. She was use to being the strong one. It was another reason her captors hated that they couldn't break her. He was dangerous and in her own mind, still ignorant of how the world was.

' That he can change like that is unerving.'

Aleia thought as she looked out the window as the pain slowly subsided. The estate was huge and she couldn't even begin to describe on how it looked.

"A bath.. Yes.. I am."

The carage pulled up to the front of the house and Lord Magnus got out. He gave brief instructions to a pair of large men and then disappeared into the house. Aliea was ushered out of the carage and led inside.

The first room she entered was the entry hall filled with grand statues and lavish wood works. A high and elegant candle fixture hung from the ceiling giving a sense of beautiful style to everything. She was poked in the back and led upstairs. She could not count the amount of rooms that she passed before the big men opened a door for her and pushed her in.

The room was a grand bedroom, with a large bed which had red silk for the covers and a large dresser against the wall. The room had a small hallway that opened into a large beautifully cut stone pit in the floor that was now filled with water that smelled of summer lilac. Folded up on the side of the pit was a towel and a bar of soap.

The biggest of the put men nudged her in the back and said. "Get to work." Then he and the other large servant left the room, locking the door from the outside as they left.

Aleia knew that the doors would be guarded. There would be no leaving the room without someone following her. At least she was alone to bath. The last thing she wanted was for others to help her and she knew perfectly well how to bath herself.

With a small amount of effort, the rags were pulled from her body and dropped to the floor. Her eyes glanced down at the caked dirt that covered her. How long had it been sense she had seen her skin?

"Too Long."

She whispered and stuck a foot into the steamy water. Hissing lightly, she eased her way in and grabbed the soap. It took several minutes before the hardend dirt would be scrubbed off. Leaving fresh, pink, clean skin behind that was sensative to the touch. Aleia noted that her scar on the shoudler was infected and still sore. It hurt much more now that the skin was exposed. Wincing, she got out of the bath and grabbed the towel that was nearby.

Lord Magnus smiled as he wachedher step from the bath. He entered the room silently and watched with amusement as she scrubbed herself clean. He noticed that she was wincing from a wound on her shoulder and that just wouldn't do. The guards back at the prison had beaten her well.

He stepped into the bathroom still with a knowing smile on his face. "I trust you enjoyed your bath." He said startling her.

His smiled widened. "I'm happy to see you clean. You are much prettier without the dirt. Now we have to deal with your wounds and bruises." His eyes began to glow a sinister red and the braclet on her wrist beganto glow violently.

"In order to heal you you must experience all the pain from your wounds all at once." There was a flash of red light and Aliea was slammed with a mindshattering wave of pain. Like all her wounds, cuts, bruises all happening to her at the same moment.

When the light faded so did the pain. Her bruises were gone, the wound on her shoulder healed without even the slightest hint of a scar.

Magnus stood there smiling at her. "Much better." He spun on his heel and said over his shoudler to her. "I expect you to be at the dinner table in five minutes." He started walking away, "Oh and wear something pretty."

She didn't even hear him enter the room and thus jumped when he spoke. Not even being able to utter a word to him when pain like she never before had felt. It made her close her eyes as she fell back against the nearest chair. The towl falling to show off her chest gently... and then it was gone.

'Wear something pretty?'

Aleia thought with a shaky mindset. her hand went to the wounds and there was nothing but perfect flesh as she heard his footsteps vanish. There wasn't much she could do. Her body didn't want to feel what she felt again. Aleia stood and went out of the room that lead to what she had a feeling was his room. The closet was open and Aleia caught the rainbow of colors that stood out.

"wow.."

Whispering as she walked over and reached out with her right hand. Touching the soft fabric as she remembered what it was like to wear items such as these. It was a bare thought as she came back to the present and rumaged through to pick out a light dinner dress. It was emerald, slightly darker then her eyes as she slipped it on. It fit her perfectly, hugging her hips and giving a slight tease of her cleavege. With a black pair of slippers, she put them on and found a comb for her hair. Not that she could do much with it wet. Only then did she knock on the door and found the same guard from earlier there to take her to dinner.

Magnus smiled when Rich led Aliea into the dinning room. "Ahh you made it." He pulled a out a chair next to his and gestured for her to take her seat. Then he gave Rich a flicking gesture and the big man left the room without a word.

For a long while Magnus stared at her, his eyes wondered over her face before eying her cleavage with an even wider smile. He nodded finally and turned to the table. He grabbeda glass and poured a bitof wine in it. He swirled the glass under his nose then set it in front of her.

"It's my personal vintage. Goes great with roast." He sliced a few pieces of meatonto a plate then cut a piece of chedder cheese and set it before her. "Please you must be hungry and surely you've not eaten this well in quite some time." He smiled.

The smell of food was enough to grab her attention from the way he was looking at her. However, she blushed as he offered her the wine and food. Her stomach was ravnaous and growled for the food that was in fron of her. Eager hands picked up the slice of cheese and she took a chunk of it into her mouth.

It was mouthwatering, creamy and tingled her tastebuds as she chewed without thought. Only when her host was staring at her did she slow down. Almost forgetting that if she ate the rich food too quickly it would make her sick. Only then did she change her eating habit to that of how she was raised as a high born.

'Shit!'


Came the thought as she stopped and looked startled. How was she going to explain that?

He smiled at the way she was eating. Like she felt she had to act proper around agreat man like himself. It was flatering but completely unessessary, there was only one way he wanted her to act for him and that was sexual.

Pure, simple, sexual.

He put a hand on fork hand and stopped her from taking anther bite. "You don't have to eat like that. I care not for sloppiness." He told her, taking a berry from the nearby tray and bouncing it off her nose. "Eat and fill your pallet. I have uses for you after dinner and I want you strong for them."
