So how is Obama's foreign policy working out so far?
The Russkies have made him look like a naive assclown. He's abandoned our allies while backing the wrong guy in Honduras. Terrorists are blowing up Pakistan and Afghanistan while he's deciding how to do nothing. He's silent while Iran turns on its own people.
Must be Bush's fault he's such a spineless worm.

Obama's friendly overtures to Russia are a vast improvement over the New Cold War, which was solely provoked by the U.S. and entirely pointless. The idea of a "missile shield" in Eastern Europe was even more pointless.
In Honduras he is backing (sadly half-assedly) Zelaya, whom all the world agrees is the right guy, in case you haven't noticed, and the majority of Hondurans agree. And what's this shit about "abandoning our allies"? The coup regime have not at any time been our allies.
WRT Afghanistan and Pakistan, there just aren't any good options.
WRT Iran's internal politics, there is absolutely nothing the U.S. can do that would not make things worse; in the context of Iranian politics, the U.S. openly backing the opposition would do it as much good as a Soviet endorsement would have done Adlai Stevenson's presidential campaign in 1952; and military intervention is obviously out of the question, at least to anyone sane.
All in all, Obama is making the best of a bad business.

Mad, soundless revels of the dragging dead -

You have to think like a non-American. It's exactly what the world wants from the American presidency. The world wants a weaker, poorer America, and that is what OB is out to give them. It's what every democratic president wants to give them.
Then the world will like us again.

We recovered from Carter and will recover from Obama. It just takes time. We just can't let the horror of the unending nightmare of universal healthcare to be voted in (so it doesn't drain our treasury forever).

UHC hasn't broken the bank in all the other countries that have it, so why would it here? What's so inferior about America?

1) Cite?
2) Relevance? Terrorists don't have ICBMs. Only governments can afford them.

Iraq has cost about $700 billion after six years.
Obama's ridiculous "stimulus" cost more than that, and that was 30 days into his administration!

Why are you so quick to assume the U.S. is wrong? Have you looked at the dollar figures attached to the Baucus bill?

Yes. It is much better to let the Russians know we will not stand up as McCain advocated when they decided to unilaterally move into Georgia. They know Obama's first reaction will be to take it to the UN security and ask them to punish themselves. Barack is a funny sort of chess player...
You are right. He is not giving the thug Zelaya the same respect he is giving Putin, Hugo, Fidel, Ahmadinejad...,
He should be more consistent in his fawning.
Screw Iran, all they want to do is bring peace to the Middle East by means of a real, not an imaginary holocaust, like Russia says, why make them angry?
This is OBVIOUSLY the best of a bad situation.
