Island Man - Happy Birthday :)
if it is your birthday. Seeing your little disappointed face on Dolf's thread, I thought we needed this thread just for you

I hate birthday threads but I like Islandman so...Happy Birthday. Hope you get stuff and don't die and whatever it is people do on their birthdays. Do people still do the dinner thing? When I was growing up I could pick whatever I wanted for dinner on my birthday. Plus my mom had this cake mold that was a lamb and she always made that even though I've never liked cake. Odd.
Anyway, it's not about me. It's about Islandman who is one year closer to death and we should celebrate that. Uh, wait that didn't sound right...

But I think you should keep your homoerotic fantasies to yourself. It's his birthday, not yours!

Thank you kindly, chip. You're a week early, but I appreciate the sentiment.

I'm curious, how do people always seem to know when it's someones birthday on here? Is there something I'm missing that says all this shit or are people stalkers or what?

I know you can do it from profile views but I don't believe that people go around checking everyones profile every day.

Chip knows because Justskye started a birthday thread last night and did not include the receipient's name in the title. Being awiseass, I popped in to say thank you, and to feign disappointment upon fiding out that the thread was directed at dolf. I was also finishing off some cold pizza at the time, but that's not relevant for the purposes of this discussion.

how long you been a member here?
at the top of each page is the link t the menu of forums, right?
scroll down
a bit more
it shows all the people online (who're not in as invisible), and below that it lists all the names of those with a birthday on that day.
ta da!
