Team Titans OoC
Currently Closed for invited players.
I'd go into a full blown explanation of it, but I really don't wanna, so here's the condensed version for people reading this that don't get it:
The Titans gang, gender flipped and still fighting crime and crazies.
Oh, and of course the typical hormone-driven fun that arises.
Created char's are ok, but I'd prefer that to be in the line of bad dudes. Let's try to keep the GB cast to chars that are actually GB'ed versions of known TT folks.
....Too many shortenings in there; What the hell did I just say....?
------------
TAKEN CHARS:
Beast Girl- Mephy
Raven- Ahren
Terran- Eazy
Phobia- LitShark
Robin- Reiha
Aqualass- Chas
------------
Name: Gari Logan
Aka :Beast Girl (Or "Beast Babe", but she hates that reference, feeling that her own looks are rather lacking compared to the other women of the Titans)
Age: 18
Appearance: (See pic for main image) Usually wears a tight-fitting black and purple uniform for missions, paired with thick-heeled white boots that come to her knees and white half-finger gloves. Off duty, she'd prefer a pair of jeans and a ratty band shirt, but has found that she's starting to enjoy more "girly" habits lately... A small cat's paw tattoo can be found somewhere on her body, but she refuses to say where.
Bio: What she lacks in stature, she more than makes up for with attitude. Gari has the ability to assume the shape of any animal – from a tiny mouse to a giant T Rex. The green-skinned gal also has a rather corny sense of humor and is always eager to please and entertain. It's rare to find her in a bad mood, and tried her best to break others of theirs, even if they don't want to lose their angry side- a certain half-demon, for example... She can obsess over certain things, as odd as they may be; things such as video games, music, and transportation. Her biggest current rants and begging fits seem to be over a vehicle of her own; a moped that she has been eyeing for months.
A bit of a kid at heart and the youngest of the team, she tries to find the lighter side to any situation, but this is only to hide a large amount of pain in her heart. Orphaned after her parents' death, she was left in the care of the family attorney- who in turn stole her inheritance and tried to kill her. After her adoption by the Doom Patrol, she felt like she finally had a family... until they died as well. Instead of letting these things leave her in a depression, she continues to hide it by forcing a smile and trying to hide her pain.
Abilities: Shape shifting. Additional powers can come with each shape; ex: flight with bird forms, strength with larger animals.
Sexuality: Straight. Well, maybe. Bi-Curious, but never flat out admits it. She's far more curious about the gloomy boy locked in his room than anyone else- but refuses to admit that, either.

:: majorly torn, here, just trying this on for size ::
Would prefer Titans just from the show's canon, or are the cast from the comics permissible also?

I copied this bio from one of the older threads, some parts not might apply but I'll edit accordingly.
I'd still like to see Reiha's picture she drew of male Raven. That might alter his appearance as well. Here's the old picture I used, though.
Name: Raven
Age: 18
Appearance: Due to his otherwordly upbringing, Raven's physical appearance is rather unique, though compared to some of the other team members, not terribly unusual. His skin is tinted gray, with violet hair and eyes. His build is thin though it and his other features are often shrouded in a long cloak and hood. All his clothing is black apart from the cloak which appropriately matches his hair and eyes.
Bio: A dark and enigmatic individual, Raven's reclusive nature and emotionless attitude often sets him apart from the rest of the Titans. He has no issues with being alone, and rather prefers it. Due to troubling aspects of his past, Raven has since divulged little information about himself or his time before joining the team, though it has been discovered that he comes from an alternate dimension simply known as Azarath. What sense of humor he has is rather dry, and he isn't opposed to making a sarcastic comment when situations present themselves, and while he has taken more effort to join the others in recreational activity, he rarely shows any enthusiasm.
Raven's relationships with the other team members sometimes borders on simply being colleagues or acquaintances as opposed to friends, however when dire situations present themselves, he's a powerful and loyal ally. Though he has developed more of a friendship with Starfury during his time with the team, and while he won't ever admit it, the antics of a certain shapeshifting team member do manage to amuse him, though they may make him roll his eyes just as often. Raven does seem to feel as if his personal relationship with her is likely the strongest, though that being said, any sort of possibilities of a romantic relationship with anyone haven't been a high priority, mainly for the emotions they tend to stir up and the problems it may cause in relation to his abilities.
Raven's powers reflect his personality, dark and mysterious. Raven utilizes psionic energy and a form of astral projection labeled as his 'soul self' to manipulate objects, matter, and even time if given the right circumstances, allowing him levitation, telekinesis, the ability to create force fields, phase through walls, read minds/feelings and even stop time. As stated, these powers generally rely on Raven's emotional state, though even an optimal level of calmness allows his telekinesis to toss vehicles effortlessly.

Titan Anything.
Though I warn that the majority of my knowledge is cartoon based.

Hm.
Well.
Initial gut reaction would be to play a girl Kon-El. Knee-jerk response.
But I could see my way through to playing a girl Robin, if that's more conducive? (Provided, of course, no-one else has an eye to doing the same thing.)
Heh. So a clone Supergirl, or a Girl Wonder. Either way.

(No, probably a Robin. Wouldn't make much sense to have two telekinetics in the first batch... I dunno.)

Probably isn't helping much in your decision process, but I see no problems with a few telepaths.
No secrets in the tower.
And don't dare have dirty thoughts.
You'll hear a few "OOOOOOOHHHH!!"'s from far corners....

Oh, my.
(Yes, see, now I'm thinking about "OOOOOOOHHHH!!"'s, and I can't think about a single character, that's not helping my decision-making at all.

*Shrugs*
I do what I can.
Gari's mind probably wouldn't be the picture of clean...
Though trying to understand the 900 different thoughts running at once may be interesting.

All those different animal instincts on top of a teenage brain, what a clutter!
(Aaaaand, speaking of aminals?)
I'm trying to remember... is Aqualad telepathic in the cartoon version?
I could play an Aqualass...

Well, that won't do.
(Though that feud could be fun.)
She can only hear other people's thoughts when they turn into morays or cetaceans or pinnipeds, oh my...
Hrm.
...wait.
Would it even count as a genderbender if I genderbent Miss Martian? From the comics? She's a telepath and a half and Martians can technically switch genders at will...
It does seem sort of fudging it, now that I think about it.

See, that makes sense to me. Because Aquaman can do that... he's like the backup telepathic link for the JL when J'onny isn't around.
Yes. :: definitive! :: I would like to play Aqualass.

:: hands on hips :: Well. I'm surprised he's not beating down the door, considering how I know he feels about green girls. :: glances meaningfully up at the top of the thread :: That's like an engraved invitation right there, and you can tell him I said so!

I'm gong to work on a male version of Troia. I've no idea what I'm going to do yet, only that it's a good start.

Hush up, you.
Between how vague certain aspects of her past were kept, all of the alternate reality versions of her running around and the multiple retcons; it's surprisingly hard to properly summarize Terra into a bio.
