Its 2009 and that is some of the worst blue screen effects I have seen. Horrible. Did they put any money into this beyond using that creepy blonde chick from lost?

Depends on the writing. The idea has huge potential. A lot of ways to go. It could be very good. But my gut instinct tells me it is going to suck.

I agree. Alienation was a pretty cool show that I really enjoyed. I remember the first V. It was good. The brunette in it was awesomely hot.
The blond from Lost bothers me to look at but I'm going to give this a shot. I hope it will be good.
The brunette this time is supposed to be from Firefly. With the short hair (why oh why?) she doesn't look at yummy as I remember.

V was orginally on during the 1980s. It rocked back then, or maybe it was just me as a kid who was easily convinced as to what was cool and what wasn't. This will suck. There is no way you can redo the orginal. Marc Singer was awsome. Michael Ironside was great too. I just think this is trying to create what has already been created and done very very well. Trust me, this will suck.

Battlestar Galactica did a fine job on the remake. So there is a sliver of hope.

no they didn't. they did a good job because they didn't remake it. if they had it would've sucked. they re-envisioned it. sadly, that doesn't always work out all that well. see all those crappy reboot movies they've been making for the last decade. they even fucked up bewitched and that's hard because it's not like that show was all that complex. |

Maybe I'm just ole fashioned, but I chose to remember V as it was during the 1980's where the special effects were cheesy, and so was the acting. God bless all of us kids of the 1980s.

Get out. I had no idea they were remaking V. I loved it when I was a kid. Used to watch it with my dad all the time. That said, yes, it will probably suck.
