Lorna was finally back in the industry, and it was perfectly understandable that Jake had requested for her to undergo a complete physical examination. She would have wanted one as well even if he did not ask.
She asked around, and under recommendations from other industry veterans, she was directed to a Dr Neil. She half-expected a fat, balding middle age man with leery eyes. Then again, she knew half her fan base would possibly look like that anyway. She might as well get used to it.
Lorna had called a week earlier, and was fortunate to get a slot in Dr Neil's busy schedule. Of course, she was skeptical that a GP would ever get that busy, but she made sure to keep her appointment. She wouldn't want the upcoming production to be delayed by a minor glitch like an incomplete medical.

"Please take a seat Ms Green, Dr Neil will be with you shortly," the receptionist told her warmly, with a gleam in her eyes as she spoke. It was almost as if she was hitting on her. Lorna returned her warmth with a smile, noting how attractive she was. If anything, it confirmed her suspicions that the doctor possibly had hired her based on looks, and was in the general business of surrounding himself with beautiful women.
